Last night was a struggle and a close one for me... I went over my calorie goal for the day (which I was okay with), but was about to spiral into a binge. It was soooooo tough to not succumb, but ultimately I put food back into the fridge instead of onto a plate, grabbed a sparkling water instead of another beer I really wanted, and backed myself down. The next few minutes was a mental wrestling match, but I held out and the intense cravings passed and I was able to relax, watch some TV and get to bed. It felt really, really good to win that battle.
So....

I don't remember a time like this since joinging this monthly challenge. Maybe it's battle fatigue and yet those of use fighing the BINGE or BED or whatever we know this demon as realize at the heart of the issue is our health and we have to fight it.

first few days spent binging on junk food in the evenings.. going a lot better now that I'm not cutting food groups or trying to restrict total calories or meal sizes. Feeling more energetic and less low, irritable and preoccupied with food.2 -
