My average seems to have stopped moving which I'm happy for because hopefully soon it will start moving down instead of up.
I've been really struggling getting into it mentally ever since Christmas. I think the whole 'resolution' concept really threw me through a loop. I had spent most of 2017 getting myself in a place where I was ready to make a lifestyle change long before I actually saw success from it. And for some reason, in December I just got kinda cocky, like "I totally got this and can never fail because I've been successful for 4 months".
Turns out that's NOT true. I find for me it takes a constant mental investment that shouldn't be taken for granted. I lost that for all of January actually, but just last night I had a bit of a spark of genius at like 2:00am and feel like I finally get what's been happening and what I need to do to get my head back in the game. I'm feeling much more confident about things now and that I really have the ability to move forward again.

I saw this spike coming, as I went food crazy over the past week or two. Also very stressed about school, so trying to keep that under control. Things look more routine for me this week, so I'm going to take advantage and take better control of my food intake.
Hit the gym this morning and it felt great! Plus it's 50 degrees Fahrenheit! Who hoo! Trying to keep this momentum going for the rest of the day/weekend.1 -

Was ill last week, struggled to get to the gym, didn’t have the healthiest eating habits... and somehow managed to see the big jump I was looking for.
I think I may have been a bit eager-beaver-too-all-in, as even with this “off track” interlude, I feel stronger, and better fueled. Not adjusting goals though, as being sick means who knows what my body was doing/needing in the meantime.
My big lesson this time was to listen to my body and do my best to stick with my goals alongside what it’s asking for to get my best results.
Because this weeks weigh in was late (and I didn’t do body comp measures last week) I’ll push my last Jan weigh in til the last moment. This’ll be the big one for a months solid focus!1 -

I hit my goal! My moving average is 167.0 as of today! January was a little rough but I think I'm back it now. I want to lose a pound a week until my birthday in 15 weeks. I'd like to be 155 by then which I think is pretty reasonable.
February is right around the corner so I'll see you all in that thread!

I haven't hit my goal, but I feel I am back in a routine now. Additional measurements show that I have lost a 1cm off my waist and my belly, and 2cm off my under bust measurement since my first weigh in on the 3rd of January.

I made my January weight goal! I still need to work on not to snacking after dinner. This will be especially important next week for my Wednesday weigh-in. My body seems very comfortable at 160, and it takes a lot to crack that number. I’m hoping for a 1lb weight loss next week, and looking to be at 157 by the end of February!

@Sojo15 my journey was very aggressive. I certainly don’t recommend it for anyone as it was quite obsessive. I ate 1200 cals per day plus 1/2 my excercise calories and weight trained in the morning 6 days a week and ran 2-5 miles 4-5 evenings a week. Really my only focus for 5 months. I came out with an absolute love for running which has been the greatest0
