Hey everyone! My name is Cristy and I'm a wife and mom to 2 teenage girls. The last year has been full of change (oldest daughter graduated high school, sold our house, bought a house, moved, started a new job) and the result of all of that for me was gaining about 15 lbs and I already needed to lose 5 before the gain. So I got back on track right after Christmas and I'm down roughly 8 lbs with about 12 lbs to go. I went from being very active in my job to sitting behind a desk all day with my new job so I'm trying very hard to be intentional about exercise. I used to be an avid runner and took a break so I'm slowly working back into that. We're going to the beach for vacation this summer and that's proving to be excellent motivation to stay on track and lose weight. I'm looking forward to the accountability of this group. We can do this!4 -

Active day and did do some exercise, but nothing I would put as exercise. Walked about 5000 steps, but did not do my bodyweight strength exercises (too tired).
Was a good lunch with friends. But still well inside on budget for the day.
Also spent a couple hours closing off January.

Had my wisdom teeth pulled a little over a week ago so I just started eating solid food again. It accounts for a slight weight gain but back at it today.

Hey Reanna, you don’t have to participate in the daily challenge if you don’t want to, it’s optional. We find that for a lot of people it helps us to come check-in daily and stay accountable but the only requirement for the challenge is the weekly weigh-in!3 -

Up and down a bit this week. Was as high as 66.2kg over the weekend, but it's back to below 66 now. Have not been doing anything different.
3 months I have been between 64.5kg and 66.5kg (that's a 4 lb range). Happy with this.
Just a last note for those new to Gutbusters this month. As I am Coach/Cheer/Moderator I do not have to weigh-in. My weigh ins do not count towards the teams total. I choose to weight in to set and example as to how weight/health management requires constant vigilance. (ie. I never went on a diet, I changed my lifestyle).3 -

- Second set of 60% of the number you did in the first set (half, then another 10%), wait 2 mins
- Third set of 50% of the number you did in the first set (half)

I was kind of bummed that I only lost 0.4 lbs this week and then I looked back at older spreadsheets for this challenge and saw I started at 235 in October! Then today I had a whoosh on the scale and am down to 195.8! Hopefully the loss hangs around and I'll see a great # on my next official weigh in day. Never give up8
