@ Dean: Five hour energy drinks would kill me. I took cafeine engery supplements during one of my first races and thought my heart was going jump out of my chest. No more caffeine products at races. Now I stick with Honey Stingers. But if I drank that during a class, they would probably be taking me out on a stretcher.
I guess you don't want to hear about when I add 5 hour energy drinks to Monster energy drinks. I'm pretty sure it won't be my heart that kills me. It will probably be a car while I'm out on my bike.1 -

@TAXMOM9093 - Great job! That's nice when you don't have to feel rushed. I dislike those workouts....mostly my own fault though for being pokey getting out of bed and out of the house.

6th: 7 miles, 2.19 m running with Beginners group, 4.81 m purposeful walking - MTD 26.65
7th: 4 miles, Pilates - MTD 30.65

I feel like such a slacker - going days at a time without checking in. Life, eh!!
My Beginners are so close to there 5k goal - in a week and a half we will be merging all the groups and herding about 100 of them down Fleetwood Promenade - happy days!!
@Leanz - my eldest son is getting married in early May. His partners divorce came through in January. I finished making the invitations yesterday, so they’ll be in the post by Monday. I don’t think I’ll have family staying quite as long as you.
@kar328 - every credit for 5k on the dreadmill
@clepant - I’m with you - honey stingers all the way.... and as for caffeine, I’m virtually caffeine free (1 brewed coffee a day, max and no instant coffee). Lemon and ginger tissane/herbal tea is my poison - win/win as it counts as water

Would you all tell me more about Honey Stingers? I use GU Chomps when I race and I can barely choke them down. It looks like there are Honey Stinger gels, chews and waffles? How do they work?

It was a gorgeous morning here. I thought about going for a run but I had things to do and besides I knew that tonight my crazy bike club was riding so I would be getting plenty of miles. Then it started raining and they cancelled the ride so no miles for me. My total sits at 39/75. Oh well....0 -

Missed updating yesterday because sleep was much more tempting than the computer. Added 2 miles yesterday and another 1.25 miles today for a March total of 21.5 miles.
