No running for the next couple of days for me as I begin tapering for my first half marathon on 22nd of April. It's going to be interesting to see how I cope with it.
Congrats on your first half. Just keep your expectations realistic and you will do great. I just wanted to finish mine and that was the real victory. The battle is the training and you’ve done that. Now on to the taper tantrums.

Congrats on completing the training! I'm also running a half marathon on the 22nd, but it's not my first and it's been so hot in Florida I haven't trained much at all. I suspect there will be walking involved LOL. Have a great run. I'm so excited for you!
I did ride my bike into town today so that puts me at 54/75. I'm going to open up my NY house this weekend and it's 50F there, so I'm hoping to get in one more long run before the race.

Anybody else have one of those weeks where you just want to say, "Screw it. I'm just going to die fat with a chocolate éclair on my lips."2

Yes, yes I do.0 -
Coming up for air a few minutes. Yes I am waaaaay behind this month but a week from today I should be able to get up late, head for the hiking trails and not talk to anyone for hours. Holding on to that thought should get me through the next week mostly sane.
Added 5.25 miles since the last post. March total 18.75 miles
