@Dean: Yuck...so sorry you feel horrible and on top of it working while feeling lousy. Keeping you in prayer.
@Kar: You rock girl! Congrats!
@Janet: Congrats on your run. All the best tomorrow. Keeping good thoughts! My 10K in the fall always forces me to run all over the place because it has so many people doing it. I think I add about a half mile zig zagging.

Distance completed 178 km - goal 300 km.
Awesome run today. Completed half marathon in 2.08 hours. Had been training up to 25 km's so knew what it was like to struggle at times with fatigued legs. Today's run was harder than I expected it to be with the heat and running on a trail. Enjoyed it nevertheless and will do it again next year.

A big shout out to power0304 on her half marathon. She ran a blistering 9:46 minutes/mile in the heat!! Best of all she called it awesome so I hope that means she'll run another one.
I also ran a half this morning - nowhere near power0304's pace but much better than I expected. And that puts me at goal. @clepant - Garmin says I ran 13.55 so almost a half mile of zigging and zagging!
Hope you've all had a great weekend.4 -
3.5 mile walk outside. My archenemies, the subdivision geese are back, just two so far. They can add an element of danger to my walks/runs. At the peak of the season there were several dozen, usually hogging one half of the walking path with their deposits on the other half like a landmine. I always have to stop and scope out a path before entering enemy territory.

Congrats ladies on the completion of your races. Both of you should be thrilled. My half marathons are slower that your full marathon time @power0304 . You both should be very happy at your accomplishments.

@vhuber - I know what you mean about losing your patience as you get older. I had a client tell the receptionist I need to learn manners. After about the fourth time of explaining what the options were and she wasn't willing to do any of them, I gave euthanasia as an option. She was not thrilled.0

Well the creek didn't rise but the kitchen sink did. We were finally able to get the clogged line clear after three days, but the kitchen is a mess and the dishwasher may not have survived. Not a major tragedy, but a major annoyance when all I want to do is take a long walk away from everyone. Maybe today???
Still managed to add 13 miles for an April total of 38.75 miles
Hmmm 7 days, 37ish miles. I can do a little over 5 miles a day IF everything goes well, right? Fingers crossed.1 -
