Here's a great example of weight loss not being linear and needing to stay the course! It took 20 days to see any significant movement in the scale after switching to a half pound a week. But I waited it out, kept my logging consistent, and hit a normal BMI today. Feeling very proud.
I'm switching my full body lifting routine to twice a week. It's all I can manage with all of my kids at home and my husband being gone for the summer. On the plus side, I'm making great progress with my lifts again.

Last few weeks are under the Spoiler:6/6/18: Starting the month off pretty good. My weight is just ever so slowly creeping off. If I can get below 136 at month end that will be great. 6/13/18: Well I'm not counting my calories and am apparently very good at maintenance. But I'm eating till "full" or "satisfied" where I need to be eating to just below full, or "slightly satisfied". I feel like the summer blahs are hitting me though and I have not been very motivated to work out. My last work out I couldn't complete. I got tired very quickly and was quite bloated for some reason. I'm not sure what happened there. The 3pm blahs are hitting hard too and it's hard to walk away from the work candy jar for a pick me up. My DH has been having to work extra early, so I've been going to bed a little earlier too instead of working out in the evenings. I'm thinking of trying to drag my *kitten* out of bed an hour earlier and trying to work out in the AM. I'm about as far away from a morning person as one can get though, so we'll see. I'm about 2 months past my "Eh screw it. I'll just be chubby" date. I think it's hitting late. Is it the heat? The slight change in my sleep schedule? I dunno, but I just need to work through it. I need to remember how far I could be in another 6 months if I don't quit now.
6/21/18: Totally spaced weighing this week! So I'm a day late. It's just been one of those weeks and I don't remember to weigh myself till after I am dressed. I did restart Jillian's 30 day shred this week. I figured it would be a good final push to my vacation a little less then 30 days out! Also I discovered an app that helps me actually get up to work out and not keep hitting snooze for an hour.. It's called "I Can't Wake Up" It makes you solve puzzles, math problems or scan barcodes before the alarm will shut up to keep you from falling back asleep. It was very annoying this morning... And it got me out of bed... I call that effective, lol.3 -

I'm not going to hit my goal this month for sure. Currently on my period so curious to see what the scale says afterwards (usually my leanest time of the month is the week after). I've been keeping up with jogging and body weight exercise as well as keeping my intake clean and at deficit on a good day, and still not going past maintenance on a bad day.
NSV: my clothes are looser and my husband has been commenting on how I look leaner (I tend to have a bloated potbelly and it's looking much flatter.)4 -

I brought my emotional eating back in check this week (except tonight and I feel so bloated!!!!). I’ve been off for the last 2 weeks which allowed more time for workouts however I do have a very physically demanding job so my activity level was down. On the plus side, so was my stress level.
It’s been 6 months since my last slide up so I am not beating myself up on this one. I needed this diet break now I’m getting back at it seriously again. 12 lbs before my shopping trip August 20th. I’ve got this!!
For the next week, 3 weight training session, 4 cardio sessions of at least 30 minutes and 10 minutes of meditation everyday to keep my emotional state in check.4 -

Unfortunately, I have had a stagnant weekend. For those who have hit the wonderful perimenpausal portion of their lives, I'm sure you can relate. I wasn't very strict on Friday night but I was super strict on Saturday and Sunday. It feels like my metabolism as actually stopped moving. I even did HIIT yesterday (which I hate) and started drinking Slender Tea which hasn't helped at all. Well, I am off to do a tough leg workout in the hopes of getting those big muscles to burn me so calories.

Good morning,
Joining in after a month long break. Enjoyed myself tremendously during my vacation and extended the pleasures of indulgence 2 weeks longer. The results are dreadful but I do not regret it! I lost weight in the past I can surely lose it again! Today starts a new day, new week and a new journey towards healthier, slimmer me! Positive attitude is everything, right?
I decided to try to stay away from gluten and dairy for a week and see what happens. Naturally I plan on decreasing my calorie intake and say goodbye to sweets and snacks for a good while. Wish me luck, please!

I hit my goal of 157.5 lbs on Friday!! But then I had my bridal shower this weekend womp - feeling very bloated. I think I can get back to the 157s before month end, that's my current goal anyway. Traveling to TX this week for business, planning to order salads with dressing on the side and going to the hotel gym.

Well, the mid cycle bloat kicked in and then I was bad on Friday, Saturday and (somewhat) Sunday. Too much food (granted, most of it home made, including the bread) and alcohol. The bloat is starting to ease off so fingers crossed I have a 3lb whoosh before Wednesday...3

On the upside, my moving average has come down 0.6lbs, which is encouraging. Forgot the measurements again so I think I will leave those out now until I get to my 150 goal.

I had my best race in several years on Saturday - profile pic is from my finish. My next race is at the end of July. Snacking in the late afternoon is my downfall. Now when the temptation hits, I take a quick look at the pic, remember how good it felt to be just a little closer to my "fighting weight", and walk away from the food :-)3 -

6/27/18 Well, this hasn't been a great month weight wise. I'm still working out though, and I am still fitting into smaller clothes, so all is not lost. I have been super busy this week with getting pets prepared for boarding during our vacation. Shots up to date, taking them to the boarding place to get them familiar before I just leave them for a week, and in the middle of it my annual "yes doc, I still have asthma and need birth control" appointment this week. It's so weird that whenever I get into the doctor my weight is exactly 139. Granted, this is with clothes, shoes and all but still. I've been working out, and am way more active and conscious of my calories then I usually am year after year. It shows by smaller clothing sizes, and the yet when I get to the doc's office I am the same weight. BOO /end rant.
The month of July is going to be insane for me. The 4th of July festivities, vacation the next week, and then a friend from out of town comes to stay with us the following weekend.
I'm signing out for July, and will be back in August.

This month has been a wild ride as I had daily weigh-ins as low as 135lbs and a couple over 138lbs after one very, very drunk night. Maintenance is pretty much the aim of the game right now and I'm doing it, so I can't complain.3 -
Well this could either be the result if a less than perfect diet lately or from upping my weights at the gym. Either way, I've still lost enough weight this year that I don't feel bloated and huge when I gain a couple pounds.

I hit maintenance about a week ago. My weight still varies wildly every day. July is going to be insane, but I'll try to check in regularly. (Moving work and home, family vacation 21st-28th, insanity.)3
