Soooooo close to hitting my 150 goal by end of August, but honestly, I'm OK with where I end if this is where I end. When I started Keto two months ago, my hope was to get to 150 before my vacation on August 29th and now that it's almost here, I look at what I've achieved and I'm satisfied with it. I wasn't sure I'd continue on after getting down to 150, but I am still not quite where I'd like to be, so I'll keep going. I don't feel deprived, I don't feel uninspired. I definitely look at food differently, that's for sure!!
I saw a lot of people post about how they have fallen off and are struggling to get back up again. Keep your chin up and know that every day, every moment is a new opportunity to try again. Life is a rollercoaster and there will always be ups and downs. Just don't forget to go back up again and you'll be fine

Bumpy, but losing again...2 -
As of last night I’m officially off on vacation! I’ve decided that 4 months of dedication could be rewarded with 1 week of No keto. So I’ll enjoy the things I’ve been missing a bit for the next 7 days. I’m not going to bother recording my weight this week because I know I bloated up about 3 lbs just from my cheat meal last night. I’ll recommit upon my return and be back to being strict and 100% keto in order to lose my next 10 lbs.

I pulled a muscle in my neck last Friday doing my ploy routine...so I've been on maintenance calories and no intense exercise since then...I've been walking, but not walking extra, and doing planks, but nothing crazy. Today it's still sore, but not as painful as yesterday and I have improved mobility but still not back to normal. I plan to get back at it in September, may have to ease into it depending on how the neck feels Saturday.
There will definitely be no plyo workouts in September.2 -

Granted, it's not much up, but it's frustrating to be going up and not down. Especially when I have no idea what changed or caused the weight gain... Well, no, that's not true. Vodka. Vodka is probably the culprit. I just need to go alcohol free for a while again. UGH.

I am going completely dairy free. I might have some nuts issues as well. I will be checking those out this month. I stalled for a while but made it to 236 which was 4 pounds heavier than my July goal weight of 232-228. Cheers to a new month:

So far it seems like I was completely right about going dairy free. Now I am checking out my nuts and seeds. I made some coconut butter cookies the other day for some fat bombs nutrition: i used a bit of almond flour and coconut butter with eggs , baking powder, vanilla extra. Each time I have eaten that cookie (one a day) , i have had at least a 0.5 gain the next morning. I am tempting to believe that the culprit is with coconut but I will be trying some recipes this weekend with only almond flour and/or almond milk and will keep y all updated.
Hoping to reach my August goal in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, here are my updated stats:

Hello everyone,
I have been feeling sicked, sore throat and stuff and not eating enough. I started to worry that my milk supply will drop since i have noticed that my breasts have reduced in size a bit. I was able to get some labs tests done and my thyroid levels are lower than ever. Could be the reason why i have been stalling a lot and experiencing all those inflamations. My hormones are out of control and attacking my thyroid. Just waiting on treatment now from endocrinologist. I am still loosing though so that is good. Trying to keep carbs at aroung 50g to maintain milk supply. Not far from reaching my August weight goals although i have stopped taking any coconut and almond foods including mct oil coconut flavor and almonds nuts for now. I might re introduce them later.

I have been falling in the trap of too much protein but reworking that as well for next month, also started taking medecines for my severe form of Hashimoto autoimmune disease and hope that will help get my hormones in control.0 -

I didn't make my August goal but I new it was a bit ambitious.
The important thing is that today after 100 days of Keto the trends continue and I'm losing weight, I'm happier, and I feel a lot better.

Wrapping up the month mostly successfully...I would have had a better chance meeting my goals without the neck injury, but I still made plenty of progress.0 -
I'm so pleased with my progress this month. I thought it would be the biggest loss in a month since I started, but January was higher at 6lbs. So this is the second highest. Bring on September!

08/26: I wasn't at home, and I have promised myself that I will only weigh on Sundays and the last day of the month. It is just too easy for me to get discouraged and give up if I go 2 or 3 days in a row without seeing a loss. But I have a feeling I was up. I have puffy hands and feet.

So, I didn't weigh myself this morning, but as of yesterday I was about the same as the 1st week of August. I wasn't serious about anything this month, but I'm okay with that. I had a lot of social gatherings, lots of food in my face, and weigh about the same. I'll take it. Also, I think at some point I had a goal of doing 10 solid push ups by today, which I JUST DID!!!! From ZERO push ups, to TEN!!!!!!!!!! Woohoooooo6

for those going dairy free - you can very easily make your own nut milks. I made my own almond milk all the time:
soak a cup of almond (or cashews) overnight
rinse then put in a blender with 4 cups of new water (I usually include a dash of salt, vanilla and sometimes pitted dates),
blend, then strain the liquid through a nut bag or towel or cheese cloth
I then funnel into a container - store in fridge for up to 5 days.
The remaining "pulp," I dry out, grind to fine and store in the freezer and use as almond flour/meal in recipes.4 -

I finished the month off at 7.8 lbs of weightloss, and my goal was 8 lbs. I'll take it! I decided for September, I'm not weighing myself at all. Not until the last day of the month, when I also check my measurements. As for August, my measurements came in at: Bust, down a 1.5 inch, waist stayed the same (I'll take it!), hips went down an inch, thigh went down an inch, and my bicep went up an inch and a half, but I think I might have measured it wrong. Either way, I'm pretty pleased with my progress for August.
September, I'm setting a goal to eat more veggies and healthy fats and maintain my protein. Less snacking, so less pork rinds and pizza in a bags. Keto on, everyone!4 -
