Goodness how did this happen It's the September Challenge!!
A new challenge month but the old spreadsheet!
So don't look for a new one of those, but continue to post your weight on the 'Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet' which Nikki will update as needed. You can obviously also post your weight in this post and many do.
For anyone new out there; feel very welcome to join, we usually post our weigh Sundays and use the 'Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet' also in 'Announcements' to track weight.
We use this thread to encourage each other and to add our weight as well if we want to and generally chat!
It's fun and it's been working and we've lost a shed load of weight between us. It seems to keep us going and even if we go up occasionally (and who doesn't!) we get back to it and continue the journey.
So here we go, good luck in September.

I'm really looking forward to this month! I'm going to implement some new restrictions - dairy & coffee free, and practice some new tactics - exercise & lots of water!

i am in for sure, but i have to post my weight on saturday. i seems more accurate, because after measuring myself, i have my saturday refeed and might have too much water on sunday.
btw, a week looks like that: (friday and saturday i am at lowest weight)

Small goals for me this month. Get below 154.2 (August start weight) and be able to do 10 consecutive sit ups (I'm doing Crossfit, so I really hope this goal is met).

My original goal was 150 at the end of August, so I don't know where to go now. LOL - I guess I'll try for 5 pounds a month! hahaha4 -
I’m going to make September work for me even with one hand literally tied behind my back. My dislocated shoulder and axillary nerve damage have put cramp on my exercise and activity. So, I’m going to have to figure out one arm replacements to burn calories and keep me from foraging my house for non-keto goodies.
My doc gave me some therapy exercises that I’ll do in place of planks, pushups and pull ups. However, I’m not sure how I’ll be able to do one handed wood working. Wood working is what keeps me busy and out of food’s way. Maybe I’ll take up painting? My house not pictures
Goal: below 160 lbs. by the end of September.

I'm in! I so need to drink more water (still cramping despite increased electrolytes) and start a daily workout routine again (including anti-sciatica core strength work).
September's goal is to break into the 140's.4 -
I'm on a roll. Let's do this! My original goal when I started in January was 150. I set it that high because I was so discouraged after months of trying to lose to no avail. I didn't want to set it at something unreachable. Now I'm 4 lbs away from my original goal! Keto was the key. I stalled for three months bouncing around 160. Cutting out most alcohol was the key. I'll be interested to see if there is a stall between here and my goal and what the key will be to breaking it.

I’m a newbie to the group, but not MFP or keto. I have been a bit off program the past month as my mother passed away and I am definitely an emotional eater. Looking forward to accountability and progress.

Anything to help keep me accountable. September will be hard since we are taking a two week trip to visit my in-laws in Michigan, so I will have less direct control over what is served at the dinner table, and I guarantee there won't be a bunch of keto-friendly meals. Eating out all the time would be easier!

I started Keto with my hubby in June and have been doing really well. We are doing dirty/lazy Keto, but doing well. I've decided that I'm giving myself 15 lb goals, and reward myself with little things, then maybe a big one on big losses.

September? Wow! The entire month of August just passed me by. Our kids started school and for some reason, this year it threw me for a loop. With my work load increasing, working on continuing my education, and traveling; I have been a bit stretched.
The last time I logged on the spreadsheet was 7/29 I read through a lot of August's comments - you are all awesome! It is such an encouragement to see what everyone has been up to and the progress that has been made - even in the midst of some pretty difficult life events.
Yesterday was my first day back to logging meals and next week I plan to get back into the gym. I have not weighed myself in weeks - which is rare for me because I typically weigh every day. I know I have been off the rails, so I'm concerned about what I will see when I do. (Not quite ready to yet - I'm thinking ignorance is bliss - even though I know it's not)

I have about 5 weeks until vacation so hoping to reach a number that doesn't have a 2 in the first digit.
I know it's a bit of a stretch but if I aim high it helps me stay focus.
Today is my 100 days of Ketoversery and I'm so excited. I had no cheat days besides a few drinks that were within my macros, and I feel just fine with that.6 -
Gosh, is it September already?! I think that means this challenge turns 1 yr old.8

Sort of new to this group and just started seriously to follow Keto ... MFP logging started December 2016 ... my 1st year lost 80lbs, but this year have been on/off with food, exercise and MFP so there has been no progress (actually gained back 20lbs ) ... but now that everything is more calm I am back to lose the next 40lbs which I need to regain my health ... however, I do have a vanity goal of 60lbs

@Re_Banana We have the spreadsheet going since January. I can't say for sure what's been lost since Sept '17, but after tonight I can see more or less what our active members have lost since joining the spreadsheet. I'll post what I get here once I update it tonight.0

As of tonight, the active participants in this challenge, that are also logging it on the spreadsheet have lost 602+lbs since January. This amount does not include weight lost by anyone who is inactive (stopped logging for more than 4 weeks), or anyone who does not use the spreadsheet.
Here's another fun fact: For the month of January, this group lost over 400lbs. That number DOES include those no longer logging on the spreadsheet. Many people stop logging for whatever reason, but I'm glad new people join, and that we have so many people still logging months later.
Here's to a successful September!

I'm starting this way of life on Monday. I'm taking this weekend to get everything together. Do my shopping, clean out my cupboards and fridge, etc. So glad I found this group.
