I upped my fat & calories and lowered my protein. I'm going back to the 'Ruled Me 30 day Start Plan' I used when I began Keto back in March. I drank almost a gallon of water yesterday, I'm doing 3 parts decaf coffee -1 part regular with MCT Oil, butter, and cream. I'm not eating until noon or later. I already feel better! I'm sleeping better. Still, have to do that exercise...

OK a good start! Last night had a dinner party and I am so proud of myself for not getting tempted with all the desserts ... which was actually what I had to bring to the party. Didn't have a chance to get anything Keto friendly since was a bit last minute ... but for next time I will

The good news is there is no place to go from here but down. In weight that is. I’ve NOT been very good in August and the first day of September I gorged myself on pizza. My discipline has been terrible. I seem to cave in to temptation and readily make and use excuses for giving in. I think I have a serious case of the, “I’ll start tomorrow syndrome”.
I want to declare here on this forum, in public, that my tomorrow has come. I will not say my weight out loud today, but I will post it on our companion spread sheet. For the rest of this month I will be posting good news to this thread about my progress toward a healthy weight.

Hi everyone!
I'm not going to be doing any weekly weigh ins for September. Instead, I'm choosing to only weigh in on the last day of the month, which is also when I check my measurements every month. Weighing in every Sunday has become a dreaded task, and I want to reduce any stress or anxiety as much as possible. This is also my birthday month, and I haven't decided if I'm going to go off keto for the celebrations, or not. Now that I think about it, probably not. I don't think it's worth sabotaging all of my hard work just for some seriously bad for me cake or whatever.
So I'll be back:

My only goal for September is to prep and eat more vegetables and good fats while maintaining my protein and keeping my carbs under 15g/day. But really, just need more vegetables. Maybe even getting in some exercise.

My first weekly gain since starting Keto. But as I near goal (145+-) my weight will probably bounce a little. Not worried.2 -

I'm always glad to see you post on the Spreadsheet. Up, down or the same, it's important to acknowledge what we have/haven't done, and make plans. Sometimes we fall in line with the plan, sometimes we don't, but here we still are. It shows you care about your health & well being and when you're ready, you'll pick up where you left off. You haven't quit, and that itself is a success. And everyone here knows what I'm talking about. We've all (I think) tried other ways to improve health, lose weight, shed fat, only to get defeated & ultimately quit. We aren't quitting in September!!
On that note...
I'm 176.4 today. I think I was 176.4 last week. I'm too lazy to check 😊.
This last 4 weeks has been so busy, I've had no gym time but I've enjoyed my kids this summer. I'm ready for the kids to be out of my hair though and sweat some lbs off. I've been doing a sort of reset by not restricting calories and just eating when I want. I think I'm ready to get back to the plan.
Small steps first!

I’ve got my H on board for a month of Keto. He did Keto for 30 days last summer and lost 45lbs. He’s already lost 13lbs since last Monday. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous 😂

Back to school tomorrow!! I'm excited for the new school year, and for getting back into my routines!! I find losing weight WAY easier when I have a weekly routine.
I premade a bunch of food for the week, and pre-logged my day tomorrow.

Starting weight for keto was 294 in May, I think.
GW for September is 265. I'd like 260, but I don't want to put that much pressure on myself.

Hi all! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We took a short trip (32 hours) to Southern California for a college football game (our alma mater). It was fun, but I sure am looking forward to a weekend completely at home with no where to go. Who would have thought I'd look forward to staying home and doing house work?
I am fully and completely back on track. I am happy to report that with being "off" for the month of August, I am only up 1.2 lbs. I think since I was tracking faithfully for most of 5 months, I got a pretty good handle on what I 'should' be eating, so I knew when I was misbehaving-lol. And when I did indulge, I was careful to compensate with additional activity and being "good" later on.
Although I'm happy the gain was minimal, it is still discouraging that I have 4 weeks where I could have been losing, but didn't. The positive? I learned that once I am at my goal, and move into maintenance, it will be okay! I will still have to put forth effort, but I don't need to be stressed about it.

So this month is my 'Keto'versary of 1 year on 24th September and currently I'm struggling it has to be said. All I've done over the past few weeks is gain, sometimes I then loose a bit but mainly I'm creeping up. I have still lost over 30 pounds but I'm beginning to worry I'll erode into that and then I will not be happy at all. My new clothes all still fit but for how much longer......I know of course that it's a state of mind and frankly my mind has not been on it. Went out last night to a food and drinks thing and now feel like an elephant and this morning I was 0.6 off the creep into my 30 ponds lost. AHHHHHHHH!
My intentions every morning are to start again by the time evening comes it has degenerated into chocolate and I don't even really like chocolate! The good thing is that I am still weighing myself as quite frankly all is lost when I stop doing that daily, as the state of denial has well and truly taken over when I don't keep up with what I weigh.
So with the best intentions (yet again) and looking to get back to under 150 and closer to 147 by the end of September I'm posting my weight.

Good luck everyone and yes; this is a year for the Monthly Challenge group, someone started the thread in September 2017 which is when I joined and I've been posting it since October 2017. Nikki started the weight spreadsheet in January 2018. There are a few of us who have been hangin' on in there for a year now. Actually that's what works, hangin' on in there and not giving up even in the difficult times. It's the honesty and support in this group that helps us all.
