Thank you for re-posting this. As several of you know, I suffer from chronic back issues and my back decided to crap out on Saturday. I will be easing back into this with walking for the first week or so. Yesterday, k had to help me on and off the toilet - today I am solo. This is an accomplishment!!!! Baby steps, right??
Baby steps, indeed.1 -
I didn't realize I haven't introduced myself!
My name is Nora.. Been on the losing weight kick since July 18th, 2018.. I have lost 49 lbs so far out of the 150 total. I have to only do what I've already done 2 more times!
I work full time night shift and my days working rotate and I go to school full time as well. It def makes losing weight harder I think, but I i will be pushing through! I'm currently taking my pre reqs for nursing school and I need to get to goal before I become a nurse. I do not want to be an obese nurse and be a danger not only to myself, but to patients and other staff as well because I'm to heavy to help move patients, give good CPR, etc.
My goals for 2019:
Stay on plan 100% until Easter. I need to stay the course except for major holidays/celebrations.
Reach my goal weight by next years New Years Eve! That's 100 lbs in 12 months or on average 8 lbs a month @ 2 lbs a week. The clock is ticking! Really.. if I get to 199 (80 lbs away) I would probably cry on the floor of my bathroom for a minute because I'd be so happy.
Drink water! I bought myself a 34 oz tumbler for Christmas with a gift card I received. I need to drink 2 of these a day to get my daily amount. I feel like I'm going to float away! I also feel so dehydrated and thirsty if I don't get my full amount these days.
Continue my streak on MyFitnessPal. There hasn't been a day that I haven't logged into the app since I've started.

HAPPY NEW YEARS WARRIORS....
WHAT A WAY TO BRING IN THE NEW YEAR... NEW FITNESS PLAN...BIGGER BETTER EATING PLAN.....AND BEING AT MY BIG BROTHERS SIDE WHILE HE FACES THIS CANCER HEAD ON. HE WAS A SHALLOW WATER SAILOR OTHER WISE KNOW AS A US MARINE... A LEATHERNECK... A DOG FACE.... A WARRIOR......MY BIG BROTHER.
WELL HERE IS OUR PLAN WE ARE GOING TO KEEP HIM AT MOM'S HOME... THAT WAY WE CAN CARE FOR HIM IN SHIFTS.....JEANO WILL BE THERE AS OFTEN AS HE CAN BE AND I WILL BE THERE ON THE DAYS I AM IN TOWN. MOM WILL BE ALL THE TIME AND OUR UNCLE CHUCK (MOM'S BABY BROTHER) WILL SWING INTO TOWN OFTEN TO LOOK IN ON HIM.
NOT ONE OF HIS KIDS GIVE A GOOD CAHOOT SO TO HELL WITH THEM. THEY DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER AND THAT YOU TAKE CARE OF BLOOD BEFORE ALL ELSE. I HAVE OTHER CHOICE WORDS FOR THEM, BUT A SAILORS VOCAB IS NOT PROPER HERE.
SO JEANO AND I WITH THE HELP OF MOM WILL WATCH OVER HIM TAKE CARE OF HIM LOVE HIM HIM WITH EVERY OUNCE I GOT ( AND THAT'S A LOT OF OUNCES) UNTIL IT'S TIME TO SAY GOOD BYE.
DON'T CRY FOR US, DON'T FEEL SAD FOR US... WE GOT TO SPEND 70 YEARS WITH HIM AND HE PROVIDED ONE HELL OF A RIDE. SMILE AND BE JOYOUS THAT HIS PAIN WILL SOON BE OVER AND THAT HE CAN JOIN DAD AND MARK AND BRAD.
REST EASY MARINE JEANO AND I GOT THE WATCH. MAY YOU HAVE CALM WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS.6 -
ONE A LIGHTER NOTE NOT TO LONG AGO WE DID A DAILY CHECK-IN....DURING THE DAY WE CHECKED IN ON HOW OUR DAY WAS GOING . IF WE WERE OR WERE NOT ON TRACK FOR THE DAY. WHAT WE HAD CONSUMED IN WATER SO ON SO FORTH.
I WOULD LIKE TO BRING THAT BACK. I KNOW YOUR AT WORK, AND THAT YOUR DAY IS PROBABLY JAMMED PACK WITH KIDS AND YOUR CAREER, BUT COME ON,,,,CAN'T YOU SPARE 2-3 MINUTES AND LET YOUR TEAM KNOW HOW IT'S GOING FOR YOU.
THINK ABOUT IT AND SHARE YOUR DAY.

Weigh in week: Week One
Weigh in day: Monday
Previous Weight: 152.6
Todays Weight: 154
It's crazy what happens when you don't eat correctly. I had several strategies and although I'm sure they helped I guess I need to revise them since I still have the holiday gain.2 -

Happy New Year everyone! I love the idea of a daily check in just to say how we are doing with our
Process. I’m so excited to have the holiday eating season behind us! This season was particularly difficult for me and I certainly felt out of control with eating. As I approach 40, my body is starting to yell at me and I need to start listening better. My New Years goal is to eliminate all those sugary snacks, record my daily intake, and keep the calorie count within the 1200 range. My goal is to hit the gym or do outdoor physical activity daily. We can do this!!!

Good morning and Happy New Year's 🎊🎉 Here is to a great year and to many goals meet this year!!2
-
Hey everyone! Happy New Years! My name is Rhea. I'm 27, single, no kids. I work in a research lab developing potential malaria vaccines. I have been a part of the group for about a year now but am now at my highest weight ever. Not because of the group ( you guys are amazing) but becuase I am a little piglet that gorges on everything in sight. I'm taking advantage of the New Year (although I typically hate resolutions) to try and do better. My goals are simple this month (and beyond).
1. Log everything that goes into my mouth
2. Get at least 10k steps per day or 70k steps per week
3. Drink half my body weight in oz of water
4. Get 300 minutes of exercise in each week
5. Most importantly if I fail on any of the above try again tomorrow. DON'T GIVE UP!
For this month I would like to lose at least 5 lbs.5 -

Wish him Fair winds and following seas from an Army/Air Force brat. God bless your family during this hard time.1 -
Daily check in:. I am on track for 10k steps, but I have only eaten a protein bar and a cup of coffee today. That's not great. I know I should eat more, hut I am not interested in doing so. I have a head cold and I can't taste anything so what's the point?
