Day 7. Today's the first day the scale didn't go down any. Must be that I've gotten rid of the glycogen stores/water weight. Now the real journey begins.
Hubs made an amazing cauliflower and cashew soup last night. MAN that was good!

Today's activity: 30 minutes on the treadmill, and Yoga for strength class.

Br: two egg cups (egg, cheese, spinach bacon)
    sn: babybel and red peppers
    lu: turkey and spinach casserole
    sn: babybel and red peppers
di: leftover cauliflower and cashew soup.
    de: the jello/yogurt concoction.

    Good morning!
Day 11. The scale has ticked down about 6Lbs. Of that is, of course, water weight which will come whooshing back when I start phase 2. But I'll take 3 Lbs in two weeks.

    Today is another goofy day.
    Exercise: none.
    Br: NONE
    snack: none
    lunch: none
    snack: cauliflower soup
    dinner: scrambled eggs

(I'm having conscious sedation and a big dental procedure this morning)

Sabine, good luck with your dental procedure. And congrats on the 6 lbs.

I've somehow managed to lose 3 lbs by being more rigorous (though hardly perfect) in SB Phase 2.

    Today:

Br: V8 low sodium veg. juice, Kellogg's All Bran Bran Buds with bananas, skim milk
Lu: spinach salad with hard-boiled egg and hummus, Ak Mak crackers
    Sn: apple with mozzarrella stick
Dinner: sushi with brown rice, not sure what else

Do you know of any decent-tasting sugar-free hot chocolate? I'm missing that in this cold weather.

As I'm trying to find soft things to eat... I tried a "mug cake" with SF syrup instead of honey. Tasty. Felt like dessert. I had it for post surgery lunch.
