Hi! I started last May at 173 lbs and got down to 158 in Nov. Throw the holidays in, a stressful January and I found myself back up to 166 last week. Anyway, keeping track of calories and eating less carbs is what I am doing.
Good luck everyone! Glad to be back with this supportive community!
Its only 8 lbs, I'm sure you've got this : I find that low carb eating helps me a lot2 -

Not substantial, but given that I was expecting a gain (lots of carbs and sodium during work emergency earlier this week) I'll take it.6 -
@broncobuddee Thanks!!1

In the spirit of posting more, yesterday I ran into a friend who I haven’t seen since I started counting calories and she was like omg you look so good! It feels nice to know that other people can see progress even when the scale hasn’t been moving much lately6

Thursday check in:
Cals : a bit over (1866 instead of 1700)
Water : 3 litres
Exercise : just over 15,000 steps
I nearly kept to calories but had such hunger pangs I had to have a slice of toast, sometimes you have to accept your body needs a bit more. Nearly Friday again and the struggle begins, too much day with too much access to the kitchen. I’ll try keep the steps high, just not by going to the fridge or press (press is Irish speak for cupboard😬)5 -
NSV: I am walking around today in a pair of vintage size 10 jeans that have been gathering dust in the back of my closet because they have been too small for years! I know when I got them that they were looser, but I can get them on again! And wear them without extreme discomfort!
@Jaybo37 - Thank you for translating "press!" And hang in there. Going out for walks, far from the kitchen, sounds like a great plan!
@alys_plate92 - Congratulations! It is so great when other people notice!
@girlfacedolly - Welcome back!7 -
Thursday Check in
Calories: under
Water: over
Exercise: 45 minute hill program on the treadmill. My foot is better!!
I had a pretty good day! I'm still watching my sodium and as long as I keep things simple and fresh I should be OK. Last night at church our kid's group had a pizza and cookie cake party and I didn't touch any of it. One slice of pepperoni pizza would have been 870 mg of sodium. So, I had my sensible dinner at home and drank a bottle of water as I took a ton of pics of the kiddos having fun.
Steps for 2/7-7768
@AustinRuadhain, Good job on getting into those jeans!! You are rocking your plan!

Step Challenge Report
02/06 - 4,804 (exercise on Mon and Wed is martial arts, and I can't wear my tracker; I'll start trying to add walks those days)3 -
Thursday check in
Calories - too close to call
Water - not enough
Exercise - managed a short lifting session - legs and abs
I think I must be feeling better because I wanted a glass of wine tonight! Lifting wasn't too bad, I kept it to low weight and high reps. Might even try a short run tomorrow!4 -

Hi Terri - I can't find your Tuesday steps for the step challenge. You're very faithful so I'm sure I just missed it. Help?0 -

Great trade-off - camera/pics for pizza. The photos will be worth far more in the long run!
Steps question for you, too: did I miss Wednesday?2 -
Wednesday check in
Calories- over
Water-under
Exercise-not much
I plan on camping it up as soon as I'm over whatever it is I have.
I would like to sleep tonight.
3695 steps
Have you seen a doctor yet? I was able to get cough syrup with codeine, which was a huge help with the sleeping. Might also be time for an antibiotic.
I've not had a lot of luck with doctors. It's hard to explain but doctors are my last option. I did start taking vitamins, colloidal silver and generic musenix DM. Also I used an essential oil infuser while I tried to sleep.
I was able to sleep in my bed last night. That's heading in the right direction.3 -
