    Hey everyone, welcome to March!
For this month I'm going to add an additional mini challenge (not weight related). We all know water is one of the main components in weight loss, but I know myself that I do not get enough. So the challenge is to get your recommended amount of water (something like half your weight in oz) everyday. If you're doing the daily posts you can add it with that and if not you can just drop a quick post...either way you should enter how many oz you had for the day.

Not ideal but had an off day yesterday with a friend visiting from out of town so indulged a little more than i have since starting the journey. Just happy there wasn’t a gain. I was down all week last week so i suspect as soon as i get back on track I’ll go back down again. Just trying to remember it’s a marathon not a sprint

@jwall309 Weight is always fluctuating, so I'm sure you'll be back down again soon. My last weigh in day I had maintained, and the very next day I weighed and was down 3lbs!

Didn't lose a lot. Didn't gain either. My goal this month is to lose 5 to 10 pounds. The summer is coming and I can't hide behind my coat much longer, gosh!!!! I have achieved so much in my life. I must admit that weight lost is the hardest. I'm not giving up though. I'm visualizing getting out of the 200 club by the end of June.

I'm so glad I have found the community challenges with MFP. This gives me a platform to discuss my weight concerns with people who are trying to do the same.

@tlgale Quick question: is it possible to modify the weigh in day for one week? This coming Sunday I will be out of town without access to a scale. I planned to just weigh myself Monday morning when I'm back at home. What is the typical protocol for this type of thing? Thank you!

@jwall309 Weighing Monday morning is no problem! Typically we try to stick to our set days, but when you can't it's understandable.

If your weigh-in day was on Saturday I would have suggested weighing in the day before, just because Saturday is the last day of the week.

**Good information for everyone to have.
