@Kres567 enjoy that final day of vacation!
@Wishusdonna, great stepping!
@19shmoo69, you are quite welcome. Keep racking up those steps! Oh, I'm almost afraid to ask what making coffee "cowboy style" might be.
@Jactop, what a step day you had, and with hills too.
@digger61, you are doing great! You've lost 7 lbs this month!

My understanding of "cowboy style coffee" is the wretched stuff that some people make on outdoor trips. Throw grounds in a pot, boil, and make plans to pick the ground out of your teeth afterwards. I found a hilarious little article that describes this, and then offers an alternative.

Cowboy coffee for the most part is boiling water adding coffee grounds. Afterwards letting the grounds settle to the bottom or poring through some sort of filter to catch the grounds. Yummmm1 -

Can you guys let me know when it’s time to sign up for April? My state portfolios get submitted Friday, so I’m hoping things get back to normal after that.2

Calories - nicely under, need that deficit!

Today, I remembered to put my shoes on to do the HIIT, and Joe Wicks wasn't wearing any!2 -

You can totally do just day hikes on it too. That's what we are mostly doing, with an occasional overnight or two snuck in there when we can. Glad you're enjoying our collective trek!2 -

Wedanesday check in
Steps 23,984
My Fitbit died 10 min into a 5km walk grrr. I could've hit 30k
Calories: over my goal but still in the green. Lots of food challenges: pizza party/staff meeting at work, all the chocolate I could eat, helped serve a catered dinner in the evening with lots of yummy left overs, hordes of desserts and a free bar. Fortunately I was able to eat at home before both events which helped keep the damage to a minimum (1 chocolate, a Nanaimo bar and a glass of wine). I was so happy I stayed in the green
Water: good
Exercise: lots of walking. Several short walks to do errands and 1 long one. It felt like spring so couldn't resist being outside in the sunshine
Thursday's plan: stick to my food plan, drink lots of water to flush out all the salt I ate yesterday and go for a walk with my sister at the indoor track2 -
Thursday check in:
Last few days have been weird. On and off being motivated to workout. Calories are ok. Water could so better. It's like I forget to drink and watch sometimes when I'm working and then over do it when I do get to eat
Today is 30 min yoga and 10 min abs.
Steps :
3/25: 5,158
3/26: 12,012
3/27: 5,842- didn't wear my Fitbit half the morning while I was at work bc it was charging.
I'm considering buying a new Fitbit. I have the flex 2 currently.2 -
