WOOT!! 3.4 lbs loss this week and a grand total of 50 lbs loss. I got my charm this morning at my WW meeting. I so excited to finally reach 50 lbs but I was much more excited to lose 3.4 lbs in ONE week!! I really think intermittent fasting is a lifestyle that I can really stick with. Next charm is at 75 lbs. and I WANT it!!

So tell us more about how you’re doing Intermittent Fasting please.
My current favorite topic!! Sure I will talk about it!
I started two months ago by cutting out after dinner eating and then moved to fasting for 16 hours a day and gradually increasing my time. One day this week I even did a 20 hour fast. I'm basically doing OMAD (one meal a day) which doesn't mean that I just eat one plate of food. I will open my eating window with a hearty snack and then cook a great dinner. I could have dessert if I wanted but right now I don't because I'm really concentrating on weight loss. But I do get to eat delicious, healthy food without guilt. Proponents of IF will tell you not to count calories and there are some amazing articles in support of not counting, but because I'm so very new to IF and I haven't yet learned to trust my body to know when to stop eating I am still counting calories and WW points. But I'm not sticking to a particular number and I really do hope to get to a point where I don't need to count anything and I can just live my life. What a concept!! So, far I'm loving IF and I'm even enjoying that empty feeling that fasting gives me and when my stomach growls, I just smile and tell my belly to shut up and go eat some fat!!
If you are interested I would highly recommend that you look up Dr. Jason Fung. I'm currently reading his book, The Obesity Code and it's eyeopening! He has YouTube videos and blogs you can look up too. Gin Stephens book, Delay, Don't Deny is a great and fast read and taught me so much. She has two amazing FB groups as well that I belong too.

Exercise: 60 min walk/stairs outdoors in the sunshine.
Tomorrow's plan: lower body weights and stay low carb. I made some keto crackers and keep them in a clear container on my counter which usually helps me stay on track.
