I read this article on James Clear's website, and thought about why I love the daily check-ins here SO much. On any given day, I only have a few goals, in line with Ivy Lee's suggestions. I also love that we add the "how did you do" part. It lets me celebrate where I am on track, and lets me let go and be done with it when I got off track.

Thursday Check-in
Calories: under
Water: over
Exercise 40 minutes on the treadmill. I tried to do incline walking and my knee said NO! So, guess I'll behave so I can at least walk.
I had another great day! The last two days I've fasted for over 19 hours and this morning the scale was down! I'm hoping to keep this up all week and have a good loss next Tuesday. *fingers crossed*

Had a great day yesterday, intake wise, until right after we had finished our early dinner of basically just some fresh boiled shrimp, we were invited to a lobster bake. Lobster wouldn't have been bad, but oh my goodness, they had everything else too. Oh well, back on track today.4 -

@Kres567 and @broncobuddee I have given it some thought and I need to take a seat on the cheerleader bench for awhile. I have too much on my plate right now and something’s gotta give. This by no means is me giving up. I’m going into maintenance mode for a bit until I can focus on me again. I’ll be back!5

Didn't have time to check in Thursday
Calories : little bit over. Had dinner at a friend's house but made healthy choices throughout the day beforehand.
Water : on target
Exercise : did not do my 30 mins leg day like anticipated. Was exhausted from work and just could not get myself motivated.
Steps 3/14: 16,941
Friday is day off so I will need to keep up with logging food and do my 30 mins of leg I missed yesterday.1 -
Hey group!
Sorry I've been MIA... I got nasty stomach flu over the weekend and it's taken a while to come back. Today is the first day that I've felt close to, if not completely, 100%.
I show a gain for the week, which is a little weird, but I don't think fluid retention and all that stuff is completely worked out yet. That, plus what I have been eating is heavy on the carb macros... banana, rice, bread, etc. Not my usual protein and fat routine.
Onward and upward!4 -
I think I missed my day again - sorry!

Friday Check-in
Calories: under
Water: over
Exercise: I did 30 minutes on the treadmill.
This week has been so crazy at work and I have a huge list of things still to get done tomorrow. As a church ministry assistant, there is no busier time than a month before Easter. I told my pastor/boss that I need a raise. I'm still loving my new intermittent lifestyle and learning as much as I can whenever I have a free moment. Scale was down some more this morning!
