4/8 - 144.0 Shocked at this drop. Fully expecting a slow down this week.
4/15 - 145.1. UGH. Wrong direction. I was down to 143.7 earlier in the week, but the weekend did me in. Went to a party with great food and open bar Saturday night, yesterday out for brunch and my daughter baked a cake. I was hoping not to go overboard since Easter is this weekend and I know there will be so much food at my in-laws. Will do my best to stay on track this week and watch portions at Easter.
4/22 - 145.7. Not happy! Was sick last week so less movement and ate way too much. Let's hope that next week I have a better update.

Hello! After sitting FOREVER at 118, I am moving on down! This has been the pattern all the way down: I sit at one weight for three weeks then skip and pound on the way down.

I am living almost entirely on beans and vegetables and the occasional fruit and loving it! It has been interesting as I cut out things I used to think I had to have. I had to have pasta or rice under my vegetables (why?) Last week I cut out bread. I thought that would be a big deal but I don't miss it. I have added a few starchier veggies (potato and sweet potato) to compensate and am eating a LOT of beans. My husband just ordered a 50-pound bag. (You read that right: 50 pounds! LOL) But, seriously, how can you go wrong with beans? My current favorites are lentils --always-- and something we get here in the Southwest US called Anasazi beans which have been cultivated for literally thousands of years. Very low gas, easy to digest, they look like a spotted pinto bean. (Am I getting boring?)

Anyway, I hope you are all finding fun changes to your diet that are tasty and sustainable. I think it's really refreshing to question assumptions and make positive changes!

I am so excited to find a group devoted to people who are trying to scrape off the last few lbs. of fat! I have had a really hard time finding support - once I look “good enough” the support drops away. I know I am late to the game, but I would love to be part of the 10 lbs. challenge!

I am 5’2” and currently 136.6 lbs as of Friday (155 at my heaviest). According to all the “healthy” weight to height charts, I should be somewhere in the 98-135 range. I would love to be in the middle (about 125) instead of toward the top of that range for once! I always get to about 130 and completely lose motivation because I feel good about how I look, and people stop supporting my weight loss. They say things like: “Oh my god, you can eat another freaking slice of cake – you are so tiny already!” But I know I would look and feel even better at 125.

These pics are from last weekend; they are a little blurry, but I think they give an idea of where I am at.

@guitargirl55 Yeah, most of the posts here are not really intended for folks working towards ideal weight. I see some of the recipes and go, "Really?" Welcome!

I'm still dealing with bloating. Part of it is because I consumed some Easter carbs this past weekend, but part of it is because I'm still on my period. I'm trying not to be discouraged, but it's tough. I really want to be close to 140 by mid June and not seeing progress when I track all week is discouraging.

If you're keeping under your calories, just hang in there! I finally learned this is normal for my body. I'll go three weeks at the same weight then drop almost two pounds overnight. That's just the way I work. It might be true for you as well. Stick to it!

Sorry to say I went the WRONG direction this week...but I am not surprised because I allowed myself to go way off my low carb/keto plan for the weekend. Now to flex my self-control muscle and get back to doing the hard work to achieve my goals!

I lost a little bit. I am surprised that I lost some because I was heavily snacking for a couple of days due to stress :( Yesterday I decided to shape up and get back on track. I did VERY well :D Hopefully I can continue this and learn how to cope with stress in a healthy way.

My original goal was to drop from 152 to 142 by June 2nd. I’m currently at 147 with 6 weeks left to go, but I’m at a point where I’m slowing my weight loss to make sure I have energy for my training, so I’ll probably take a little longer than I had hoped. That’s alright though, eventually I will see that number on the scale. And eventually I’ll see the 130s too. Trying to think a bit longer term for the moment.

Haven't been very strict lately and am almost always over my calorie goal... especially since I was off work last week so didn't have a good routine. But I think just logging and being mindful is helping, because before this I was probably eating 2,500 - 3,000 calories per day ... I do still breastfeed so probably need a bit more calories than MFP thinks I do... trying to be back on the wagon and more strict with my diet this week!

Losing while breastfeeding is tough! I always had hunger pains in the morning because my son nursed a lot in the evening. Bulletproof coffee helped me with morning cravings, but everyone is different.
