    Daily Check in: Sunday
    Food: logged and on track
    Water: 80 oz
Exercise and steps: 30 minute walk Leslie Sansone video and 10,023 steps

I don't know where to start...yesterday was good but unproductive. My weight was under the lowest it had been in April this am. Then, I got a call from my daughter Mary Kate, she had a presentation and was having a panic attack. She had already talked to the professor ahead of time since she has been having problems lately. He let her go first, in private. She wanted to come home but once she was home, she wanted to go back. I just took her back, not sure if it was the right thing but she did seem better. I am going to get her for the summer on Wed and she has one last exam Thursday that is online. Then we have a bunch of doctor's appointments next week trying to see where we should go from here. So far, no exercise but plan to at least take Daisy for a walk for at least a half hour. Some good news, my niece got an apartment in Philadelphia and is leaving Friday. However, now my husbands nephew and son are coming to live with us in "a few days" to "save money" because he got kicked out of his girlfriend's house. This is very unusual for us, we have had visitors before but the longest anyone stays is a week. This visitor won't keep me from heading to the shore as he is on my husbands side. He actually has 3 son's, 2 are adults 19 and 23 but they are staying with friends. His little one is only 10 I think. I feel bad, I think he has seen too much in his little life. The mother drops in and out of the boys life. Very sad but a little overwhelming too. I am going to keep plugging along and not let it get me off track. MK and I are thinking of leaving for the shore for the summer in about 2 weeks. She is going to work down there again. Ok...I need to go for a walk and clear my head instead of rambling here with all of you!

@Julie8468 Nice day! Thanks for the introduction. It is nice to have you, you have been such an encouraging and supportive part of our team.
@bmaison2014 Great! I am glad you are going to join the challenge!
@gottagetthisdown Nice loss! Glad you are joining the challenge too!
@carlsoda Hope you had a fun weekend even though it was busy. Glad you are getting right back on track! Keeping your little grandson in my prayers. Hugs!
@cyndiesstuff Thank you! I had no idea how we were supposed to keep track! Lol! You are the best co captain a girl could ask for!! Sounds like you are still doing well with all that is going on. Planning is key. Are you listening to any podcasts? I am guessing that is hard to do with being in a hospital room.
    @nstephenson01 I agree! Lol! I was hoping for a little break ;)
@hope002 That is the same reason I weigh in on Fridays! Lol! I am still not sure how we do the weight so just hold onto that for now.
@jedaschultz Nice loss!! Hope you are feeling better soon!
@Shirin_K Love your goals for the month. You can do it! Glad you are part of the challenge!
@lennoncpa I can't understand why people would do that, especially on a plane with recycled air. I have 5 children and have been at the doctor's on vacation if the kids have a fever or seemed to be sick so I can start them on medication at least. I am glad that you aren't at risk for the measles. Hope Vegas was fun other than that. I love it there!
@eyesopenednow . What a great day! My brother's both live far (Pittsburg and Arizona). It is so nice to have alone time with them. Glad you had such a great time!

@cyndiesstuff . I can't enter@Julie8468's water. I entered a few with no trouble at all. Can you see if it works for you? I was putting 67.5 oz (it is actually 67.628) . What happens tomorrow with the water since we only have one slot for water?

Hello, I'm Tracy from NH. I'm 47, married with 2 boys 24 and 21 and have a grandbaby due in October. Yikes!! Been very busy with life lately. As you all know my son was in an accident, well he finally starts back to work tomorrow but we have to drive him to and from work. Not fun for me. So on top of all his craziness he just had strep throat and 3 infections in his mouth. On Friday they removed 2 of his wisdom teeth. Dr told him he had the worst luck he's ever seen. If only he knew the half of it. This is my last week of class, hip, hip. I decided if I fail the class it's a sign. I need to move on and get a different job. I'm reevaluating my life. I feel life is just slipping away. So time to take control. That was my big revelation this weekend. So time will tell.

that was great for you to visit with your brother. I wished I had more time when I was in MA a couple weeks ago to visit my sister. I went to see my brother and got back too late to see her as she starts work early so gets to bed early. We did have a get together with the whole gang but no one on one time.

My name is Patsy, 66, with 2 children and 2 teenage grandchildren. Reading all these intros got me feeling old! (I really feel younger than I am and my doctor says I look younger.)

I have been on mfp, since 2011, in this group since November. I have lost about 15 pounds in the last year, holding steady for a couple months. Now that spring has arrived I will get outside more and move more.

I have a question about the challenge, do I change my weight in day? I was Friday’s, but am I reading the posts correctly? Should I give you a starting weight for Monday/yesterday? Monday is definitely higher at 141.8 lbs. I can also give water in ounces.

I had to go back to get MK again. I don't know how she is going to make it through exams. I had a very unproductive day, I feel like I have been driving back and forth to her school all day. I guess I was kinda doing that. I did get Daisy out for a walk. I am happy I didn't over eat but I did chew a lot of gum. I really wanted something sweet. Guess sugarless gum is better than cake. I am going to bed now. I need to get stuff done tomorrow but I first want to get exercise in. I actually may set an alarm and get up early. I need to plan out what I need to do in the next two weeks and get it done or I am never getting to the shore. I will check in tomorrow morning. Have a good night!

@Julie8468 No worries! The problem wasn't because you posted in liters, it was something with the spread sheet. I don't really understand how we are going to do the weigh in portion. I am Friday too but I think we are going to use a weight from either Sunday or Monday if you took one. It won't effect weigh in days or our weights. It's ok if you are up a little, it is who loses the most in a week. It is confusing Lol!
@ljdanny Your poor son has had a rough go of it. I hope he gets through this quickly. Will he ever be able to return to driving? Is it because of his hand or just too soon for him to drive? Good luck with the end of school. I hope you do well. You put so much time in, I would hate for you not to get credit for it. The older we get, the quicker time seems to go. Maybe it would be good for you to take time to think of what you want to do next if school doesn't pan out. I am sorta in the same boat. I really don't know what I am going to do after the summer. I also have to take time to think things through too.
@pacsnc6 You aren't old at all! Lol! You have been a great teammate! You are such a good source of support!

ok, lets have some clarification. I THINK: we will use what you weighed on Sunday and then subtract this coming saturday's weight. that way it is fair for everyone. if you didn't weigh on sunday, use you last weigh in weight.

and if we want to see how everyone is doing, go to the team weight no more spreadsheet and scroll to the very bottom, there you will find the week one challenge.

woke up this morning to more rain. it has been raining for weeks now. mom is some better but is bitter we didn't just let her die because this is hard. i told her life is hard. she is not done yet. it was a very long day yesterday. i was at work all day and then went to the hospital and i got home around 8. i can feel myself gaining weight and i really don't know what it is going to take to make me stop. because i don't want to stop. i know that sounds silly but i don't. so how do i stop if i don't want to. you have to want it and right now and for a few months now i just haven't. oh well, still waiting on counseling. called another place, it is a half hour from work and a half hour from home. maybe that is the answer. i don't know, i had to leave a message. i have not given up.

@Shirin_K people get off track. well maybe not even off track, i think it is more of a detour. when we detour like that i think it gives us time to learn a lesson we need. so what did you learn from your april? i agree with @sleepymom5. in may, what behaviors, activities, and thoughts will you keep, start and stop?

@lennoncpa glad to see you made it back. and i find that many people these days are so wrapped up in themselves that they really don't even think others exist. others to them are like furniture. my boss is like that. for instance, he knows what i am going thru with my mom and really didn't know if i would be at work yesterday. but blocked himself out of the calendar for the day. didn't even bother to see if i made it to work. i am a fixture in the office.

@eyesopennow i am sooo glad you had a nice time with your brother. it is really nice when you can have quality time with loved ones. and maybe you should have been thinking about the food. it really is a behavior we all need to work on. being mindful of how your body feels is a key to changing your relationship with food. all jokes aside, maybe spend a day or two, where everytime you eat, set your fork down between bites. feel the food in your mouth. feel it in your stomach. be very aware of how you feel after every bite. start becoming aware of feelings of fullness. it is really a valuable tool.

@sleepymom5 i fixed the water issue for julie. i am so sorry your daughter is struggling. i know first hand how hard it is. something stuck out in your post, you said see where WE should go from here. you need to be very careful internalizing her problem as yours. words are powerful. how about see where she should go from here. you can still help her and be there but it is her problem. xo. i know its hard. i am sooooo glad your niece is leaving too. so will your husband be staying at the house with the nephew? you are going to need all you newly learned skill. it is time to put them to work. you can make the shore a success this year. show yourself you can live your life and still live healthy.

@ljdanny wow, how long before your son can drive himself. that is really a lot of work for you. and i think it is fantastic that your reevaluating your life. it is a great time to do so. i hope you find just what you are looking for.

@pacsnc6 ohh and you say you feel old like that is a bad thing. being old is amazing. you have all the wisdom of your years. and you can sit back and laugh at the young adults making their mistakes that will form the rest of their lives. it is a great time to be happy about how far you have come. words are powerful stuff. be happy your 66. it looks good on you!!

@Julie8468 no you don't change your weigh in day. this week you will just have two weigh in days. one on friday and one on saturday. and we really don't need your starting weight. we just need to know how much weight you lost from sunday to saturday.

@GingerPwr don't be sorry. we were just worried about you. glad that you are ok.

@hope002 omgosh, i am doing the happy dance. that is a wonderful NSV!! you should scream that from the roof. look at that new you go. be sure to give yourself big credit. i alway start my day, laying in bed and meditating on all the right things i did the day before. starts your day on a positive spin!! good job

@amsandos you have been doing so good. 16 pounds is an awesome accomplishment. you keep that up girl and in no time it will be 20!! and when you have a revelation it is never silly. i think it is great that you are figuring this out. if we were never taught this how would we know it? we continue to learn every day and you are true testiment to what it is like to be a human being. you human you!!

@Mrsbell8well how did the trip go with molly? i bet she is mentally exhausted. when a partner is struggling it will affect you personally too. and i am going to tell you the same thing. you are just a wonderful human being. you will feel good and you will feel bad. roll with it and you will always come out on top.

gotta run! it is exercise time!
