    Wednesday Check in
    Food - almost good :)
    Water - great
Exercise - 10,000+ steps even without a lunch walk!

Overall, I'd say yesterday was my best day so far this week. Still could have done better, but I'll get there! I have my chiro appt over lunch so no walk but managed to get in lots of steps at home. OK...here's the question, why can I run around my house but as soon as I hit the pavement outside I feel my energy drain so I can't run outside? Must be mental I think hehehe

Today is my Friday (yay!), gardening tomorrow, Saturday going to a huge antique show and sale and we'll see about Sunday. I am looking forward to tomorrow. I'm going to get everything ready to plant then as soon as the weather improves I'll get all my veggies and flowers bought and planted. It was 36 degrees this morning!! I have a few messy overgrown garden areas I need to work on this year. We'll see how far I get. It's like eating a pie; my eyes are bigger than my ability to do the work!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Yesterday's yoga class kicked my butt My abs are on fire today. I enjoyed the challenge so that's probably the teacher I'm going to go with. Back down to my pre-TOM/end of April weight... now the hard work begins.

    Check in for: Wednesday
    Logged food: Yes, over
    Water: 72 oz
Steps and Exercise: 15,281 steps and 60 minutes walking

Yesterday was decent. I drank enough water and had plenty of steps. I logged food, but ended up 150 calories over – the soup I made for dinner had more calories than I anticipated. Should’ve put the ingredients into the MFP recipe tool first. (I didn’t realize cream has 7-8 times the calories of 1% milk!)

I am happy with a maintain and stopping the gaining trend this week. A few "credit-worthy" acts the past few days have given me some sense of control. And I feel motivated! I think I’m headed in the right direction again.

Today’s goals: Yoga, 12,000 steps, 64 oz of water, log food and under calories!

I am sure most of it is water. In order to gain 5lbs actual weight(fat) you would have had to eat a 37,500 calories SURPLUS a week(to gain 1lbs-7,500cal surplus), that would be 5,357cal surplus each day, which I don't think it's physically possible.

@GingerPwr that is a great loss. give yourself credit girl! you deserve it. and sometimes we have crap days, weeks, months, years. it's life. we learn and move on! you did awesome picking up where you left off!!

@eyesopennow what are you getting done at the dentist? I have spent so much money at the dentist. your doing great. thanks for checking in.

@Julie8468 ohhhh that is a really long day. was that a business trip or for fun?

@sleepymom5 I got everyone caught up. don't you worry!!you computer was one that was effected with what? did the doc do an xray of your hip? the doc thought mine was bursitis and it was arthritis.

@Shirin_K thanks for checking in. and that may be a small loss but it is in the right direction. good job. you should start every day giving yourself credit. you are a rock star!!

@hope002 you too. thanks for checking in!! and omgosh we are going to have a dance party. you are not obese any longer. that is a great milestone! ohhhh so proud of all your hard work. you keep that up. ohh I can't wait for the long walks. it has been so rainy here everything is under water. and thanks, you know, I know logically you are right. but that scale sure does mess with your mind.

@carlsoda could be the floors in your house are softer than outside or your right you may just be a little touched!! I joke, like weight loss it could be soooo many things. and our gardens are still under water. its raining again today.

@hkfleming nice loss. you have been working really hard. good job. yes, I will get your weigh in day moved to Friday. it will start next week.

@cyndiesstuff yep agreed with the comments above

No way you gained physically 5lbs. It’s mostly water retention!

You lady, don’t stress about it! Just make it one day at a time. 24h plans - that’s what you always say to others and it really works. Focusing on one day at the time.

@Mrsbell8well I do think scale number is a bs, especially when you’re building muscle at the same time you’re losing fat. You’re gonna look way different at 140lbs when you workout hard and have decent muscle mass then whem you just drop to 140 by diet and not much challenging workouts.

However I do think, tracking keeps you more accountable. I have days - usually sundays I don’t track but still try to eat decent and around calorie goal. But I def tend to snack and eat more bc I know I won’t see it black and white written in my diary how much I ate.

Intuitive eating is the goal for most of us here, but it takes a long time to learn and get there.

@cyndiesstuff I agree with what other's wrote. You won't let us quit on you so you can't quit on us! This has been quite the crappy, challenging year. And remember that your body (and mind) is still healing from major surgery. Try to be kind to yourself but I don't mean with a milkshake. Hugs my friend. Together we'll do this... just one day at a time. You know what to do... you've lost weight successfully before. I know your heart and head will come around.

@nstephenson01 I truly did laugh out loud when I read your milkshake comment! thanks for the smile I really needed that. and I know I have to quit thinking I am wonder woman all the time. I gave that title to @Mrsbell8well

@lenka1 yes. I will start tomorrow with a 24 hour plan. I will make it doable. I will succeed tomorrow.

another tip when it come to food, it helped me many times:
eat what you love - I mean find a healthier alternative of what you really love. I you only eat healthy, nutritious foods that you don't like, you are full, but not "satisfied" and you will be looking for more food to receive that pleasure.
For example: I eat greek yogurt for the protein content, but I don't like it. So I add 30-40 grams of granola and 1-2 spoons of jam and I loooove it. It has the sweetness we are looking for in a dessert and it has crunchiness - I hate soft, mush-like foods. So, I get my protein in AND I receive my "pleasure" from eating it.

@cyndiesstuff this team would not be the same without you. I’m glad your hanging in there.
I survived the day with my boss. It went really well. But I was smart and surprised him with a visit to my house and mom’s delicious Mexican food for lunch.
Today was not at all how I planned it. I had to relax and regroup and make the best of things. And it turned out even better than I could have hoped for. I even sent him home with a slice of strawberry rhubarb tart.
I am skipping work out. Had a big dinner and going to bed early. Back with it tomorrow.

I got my computer back!! Whoo hooo!! Lol! GREAT day today, I will fill you in tomorrow at some point. Tomorrow morning I am moving my niece to her apartment in the city!! I thought this day would never come Lol! Mostly because she didn't seem to be putting any effort into finding a place. She never did get a job but she isn't very receptive to any suggestions so I am not going to worry about it. She has a job 4 hrs a night for 4 nights teaching an online english class in China. She made the mistake of telling me she could do this full time but isn't. She also told me it ends at the end of May but she could continue through the entire year. She isn't going to do that because it isn't what she wants to do. Which is fine but have a backup job before you quit...smh... Hopefully I will get on here tomorrow before I leave with her, if not I will check in later. Hope everyone has a good night!!

@kirsten11872 I love how you are already seeing an improvement in your endurance on the new machines! Great job! Sounds like everything is on point!!
@eyesopennow I did keto and did lose but once I stopped, the weight came right back on. I still watched my carbs and what I ate too. It wasn't for me. I didn't mind the diet but I wouldn't be able to keep that up for a lifetime. I know lots of people love it though.
Tough week off for you. Sorry about your MIL but there comes a point when they do require more care than is possible at home. Hugs to you and your wife. Nice day Wednesday btw! Hope the dental work went ok
@Mrsbell8well If you are still losing inches but not weight perhaps you are losing fat still but gaining muscle. You are doing all that yoga and running. I would wait and see what happens before you change the way you eat. You probably need more calories with the running. I am glad the day went well with your boss!
@Cafelelia I am glad you were cleared to run. How did the first run go? It must have been nice to get back to it. Your check in for Wednesday was amazing! Awesome day!
@Twyla77 I love that your gym sent that motivational reminder! Thanks for sharing!
@gottagetthisdown We all have those lazy days and Tuesday you kicked butt so I can see why you may feel that way.
@GingerPwr That is still a nice loss. I hope May is a better month for you. I am glad to hear that things are slowly starting to look up. I am glad you stayed with us. Hugs!
@Julie8468 Wow, just reading about your Wednesday made me tired! Lol!
@hope002 Congrats on being out of obese! I have about 5lbs to go. That is a huge milestone for me. You have been doing killer workouts and on track with food. You should be proud of yourself! Great job! I totally agree with you about eating what you love. I have been on so many restrictive diets and they don't work for me for the reason you said. I like finding healthier alternatives to the things I like to eat. You have a lot of good tips!
@carlsoda . You always have such fun plans! Enjoy your 3 day weekend!
@hkfleming Looks like Cyndie has already switched you to Friday. Sounds like you are doing great AND have a great plan! Wtg!
@nstephenson01 Nice loss!! That was a long yoga class, glad you found one that challenges you and you like.
@Shirin_K I am so glad you are checking in again. We missed you. You seem like you really are back on track! Love your daily goals!
@lennoncpa I always like when you pop in! That is so true! Things can change in a moment.
@cyndiesstuff So much for letting me catch up with the spread sheets! Lol! You know that I am here for you if you ever need anything. I am sorry this has been so difficult for you. xoxo
@ljdanny That was a maintain for you. That isn't bad, better than gaining. Are things getting any better? I do see you getting your workouts in on my newsfeed. Hope all is well. xo
