WHOA! Back to it!
I've been off the rails for a while and the scale certainly shows it. I'm back now with renewed dedication. Apart from the scale, I feel that my health is much improved on Keto. Ive been back to tracking consistently (it took a while to get used to tracking again, and would track a couple days, then stop, then start agin) for over a week and feel much better. My skin is improving again, my mood is improving, and I'm getting some energy back.
My "break" was from tracking but just lead to me binging on nuts, cheese, and protein bars. I'm sure I was way over on calories and carbs.
I don't have a crazy amount of weight to drop at this point and am trying to focus a bit more on how I feel. Hoping to tone up this belly of mine 😅
I'm looking forward to an active summer.

Lowest weight: Feb 3 2019: 122.8 (-52.2 lbs in 252 days)
Weight gain off tracking: April 27 2019: 132.2 (+9.4lbs in 84 days) Yikes! 😯

Experiencing daily ups and downs on the scale and disappointed that I cannot seem to get below 200. Need to look for that TED Talk a pro-keto nurse did on stalls again. Did take a bunch of body measurements today so I can compare monthly. Trying to focus on health and feeling good rather than mere numbers. Doctor yesterday said I can stop my blood pressure medicine and ordered annual blood work which I’m eager to get back.3 -

I don't plan on weighing myself this month. My goal this month is to make my legs and butt bigger I will be focusing more on lower body and ab workouts. It may not change the number on the scale but I hope it changes it on the tape. I will still do my monthly weigh-in/pictures and measuring.

Greetings and welcome to all, old and new. There's certainly a lot of events coming up with birthdays etc! I'm back from an extended holiday (in all senses of the word!) Could kick myself for getting so out of hand but got home on Saturday and started Sunday and despite the arrival of a new grandchild yesterday I stuck with it! A whole two days, let me tell you that doesn't sound a lot but in my life currently: it is!!

You usually start seeing 2-7 pounds of weight loss in the first 5-10 days. It's the water weight that your body flushes out. After that it's around 2-4 pounds a week in the beginning, and then it slows down as you get closer to your goal weight. It depends on your sodium intake on some days, and women see more fluctuations due to TOM and other issues. And you must remember we all are different and results vary. Keep counting calories and tracking carbs. Good luck.0 -

A lot of folks see a pretty big drop off in the few weeks in the beginning, and others maybe not for 2-3 weeks. It is all very individual and a lot depends on how long it takes you to get in to ketosis, how strict you are, how much water weight you have to spare, how close you are to goal, etc. Assigning an "average" number can be very misleading as it is all so very individual.
