Well done - what's week 4 look like in couch to 10k? Time would be a problem for me too, if I were to go beyond 5k.
I think it's couch to 5k for the first half and then builds from there. Week five day one is 5 and 6 minute jog intervals.
Your data from your run sounds very exciting!0 -

Well done @kilobykilo - I got as far as day 1 of week 3 so am closing in on that too0 -
W2D3 done - on to week 3 next Tuesday!4
-
W3D1 - I'm now officially as far as I've ever been in the programme6
-
Well done @VanVanDiane !
Week 5 day 2 done, a day late but it's done....! Almost enjoyed the 8 minute jog interval but found the five mins of walking too long between the runs..... maybe longer intervals are going to be doable, maybe!4 -
Great job guys! I’m still lurking and still running. (I can’t believe I’m still running!)4

I’m still here. Technically on W4D1 but last night I just felt it and wanted to just go and blow off some steam so I turned off my C25K app, cranked up the music and just ran. Ended up jogging an entire mile (11:01) then walked it off and went home. Much needed and now W4D1 should be easy peasy. I hope lol.6

Ooh well done @VanVanDiane ! All new from now on!
@kilobykilo , fab - you really do start to enjoy the solid runs more than the intervals, I promise.
@jcraig10 - Sounds great, but be careful you don't do too much too soon. One of the forums I'm on for C25K gets very stern about people doing that. You're right though, W4D1 should feel like the proverbial walk in the park now.
W8R2 finished here. Incline on the treadmill at 3% the whole way, felt okay. Tough at times, but totally doable, and didn't have stitch or pain anywhere. Also first time my ultra marathoner other half has seen me run, and he made very nice comments about how I was running a lot more freely and naturally than he expected I would be (back handed compliment maybe but I'll take it! ) Drinking like I still live in Phoenix (glued to a water bottle!) instead of Wales has definitely made a big difference to my running. Only four runs left!

Week 5 is done, was hard this morning because it was pre breakfast yet already super warm. 10, 15, 20 minute intervals around the corner and I hope I'm ready for them!
Have a great weekend everyone!4 -
W3D2 done - woohoo! Had to have a few days of RICE mid week, but foot seems ok now. Onward and upward!
Well done on finishing week 5 @kilobykilo - I can't imagine 10 minute intervals yet - the 3 minute ones are still kicking my *kitten* at the moment 🙂🏃🏽♀️
ETA cheer for @SarahGilfach - nearly finished!2 -
Did a 5k today walking and jogging - 51:15 total which was not terrible all things considered. Week 2 run 3 complete. Aiming for tues or Wednesday to start week three3
-
Week 6 day 1 done this morning. Didn't enjoy it really.
Well done to everyone kicking *kitten*!4 -
W1D2 done over my lunch break! Need to pack a bag a bit better... but it’s a start! New week, new month.... new goals!!
Happy Monday!3 -
Hi everyone, I'm late to the party but completed week 5 run 2 today. I did c25k years ago (pre-child) but haven't run since I fell pregnant at the end of 2014. I definitely don't find running easy and I don't feel like I'm really getting any better, but I'm doing it.
If anyone wants to add me, feel free 🙂4 -
welcome @frannie_h20! You're not late to the party - I'm still on the first course... W3D3 completed today3
-
W1D3 complete, packed a different shirt today so I was better prepared. It is supposed to be cold and rainy on Friday so may wait until Saturday... or do it after work when no one cares if I am a drowned rat.
Happy Hump day!

Week 6 run 2 done today. Not my favourite week...... kinda looking forward to dropping the walk in the middle next week..... never thought I'd say that!!5
-
Week 3 day 1 complete. I did a 5k on Sunday and ended up at 49:51 which was better than I anticipated. My left foot/knee/hip is still bothering me even though i bought nice new shoes and insoles which is a bummer so a doctor's visit is def in order but still. Keeping on, albeit slowly!

W4D1 - finally onto a new week! Ask me if I liked it... 😉2

I'm hiding from week 6 day 3 after day 2 scarred me!2

Yay! That week was the biggest mental hurdle for me. You got this!

It is definitely more of a mental hurdle than a physical one (although my legs were tired by the end!). At this point I think it's actually easier to keep going than do intervals.
I was slower than I'd like though, hoping I can get faster as I move towards the end of the program!2 -
I'm still so slow I'd probably be faster walking! I figure I'll work on the speed element once I can run for more than 5 minutes at a time without feeling like I'm going to die... W4D2 completed today, a lovely sunny coastside run1

I completed the program a few months ago and am a little faster now, but I find that focusing on speed wears me out. I was listening to a running podcast recently. They were talking about saving your stamina for the end of your run and intentionally running slowly to build endurance. I’m going to focus on increasing weekly mileage a little at a time before I worry about speed. I was able to run 48 minutes for my long slow run early this week. I’m using Runkeeper to track my mileage and performance.1
