So, looks like I forgot to log in on Saturday - I have lost my huge streak, noooo!
I have also gone crazy for a bit longer than I anticipated. The scan revealed an immense tumour 20 x 13cm - it's the size of a 20 week baby! I'm calling it Eric. Eric is like a character in the cult film Withnail and I - he demanded the finest wines. And cake.
Luckily lymph nodes don't look bad, so we're assuming benign. Big old surgery coming up. This thing is mahusive.
I knew I was secretly thin!
Okay, so there's risk, and there's still a slight possibility of C, but cross your fingers and toes. I'm waiting on dates and times of appointments now.
So, I've done some steps - including more dancing.
I've drawn a line this weekend in the crazy. Looking after myself from now on.
17th - 8052
18th 10845
19th 11877
20th 7146 (went to docs that day, got a lift)
21st 15515
22nd 14658 -including dancing
23rd 11757 - walk by seaside and climbing castles.

Hi all - am I a little nervous...? Uhhh - checking - yes!! Well, ok, must mean I am taking the challenge seriously which was actually my first goal. I'm going to look at the June postings to get an idea of what I need to be sure and include. Plan is going well, I need to exercise more and keep sodium low and try to avoid retention. I am very excited for the July challenge and way happy to be a part of it!!! =>3 -

Well, my church's VBS is over and yesterday was the most exhausting day for me. I was in charge of organizing and running our carnival Family Night and of course, it had to be blazing hot!! I got over 15,000 steps yesterday and today, I'm dead from the last five days. I came home early from work today and I'm hoping to be able to recover by tomorrow.
Congratulations on getting through your busy VBS week! Your church community is lucky to have you making such a big contribution. I hope you are having a restful and healthy weekend!

I eat minimal sodium as well. Have you discovered Mrs Dash? I love those, especially the Garlic & Herb version. It was a switch to learn to enjoy lower sodium, but I can definitely eat well and enjoy my food without, now that I am used to it and changed up my cooking a bit! ๐
