Despite not losing weight this summer, I have lost a few inches overall! πŸ’ͺ Gained muscle!

Inches are more important than pounds! Congratulations on a productive summer.

I’ve been mia the last couple of days because we have been through a lot. On Thursday we had to put down our Pomeranian who was 8 years old. It was very hard because we inherited her when my Mom passed away June 2018. But she was very sick and yesterday we were busy getting everything ready for our cruise in November. I promise to be more proactive and posting again!

Today we are heard to a local lake to go scuba diving. I haven’t dove in over 7 years!!

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

So I tried to exercise smarter by doing a warm up, cardio and cool down on my Total Fit Gym squat Challenge today for 14 minutes and I think I overdid it barely made it to my bed my back was spasming something fierce. No I'm not trying to kill myself😍😍 but tired of the cramping when I usually finished exercising but I admit I did move a lot faster than usual trying to hit my target during the cardio so I can feel the burn, just going to have to go a little slower when doing the cardio on Saturday. As I have a rest day in between as not to overdue it.

πŸ’¬Comments: Although I went over my calories by 103, I’m happy with that as it could’ve been much worse. TOM came today too, so I’m thinking that’s why my weight has jumped up by 3 or so pounds over the past week.

Not as bad as I'd feared - I'm only up .8 lbs since Aug Week 1, despite not tracking and not getting many workouts in. It makes me think some of my new habits (and probably new portions) have stuck!

This week, I'm planning to be back on track with tracking. I've already got today's breakfast and lunch in, and I even brought my extra food scale with me to work so I could weigh out any nuts, jerky, etc. I have as snacks.

This is also my first week with the new schedule (due to the kids' after school activities). So hopefully I can figure out when I can make it to the gym (or, what will be my new box) and get started on that again. I thought about starting this week, but didn't want to add that extra level of stress (possibly committing to times that didn't actually work).

I hope everyone has a great week!

I’ve really been struggling lately and have been making bad choices when it comes to snacking. My breakfast, lunch and dinner is healthy but then I find myself snacking on crisps and chocolate in between. I don’t know how to get this under control πŸ™

    Track: Yes
    Calories: Yes
Exercise: Yes, 3.5 hours walking, 1.5 hours weight training--Snatch, Clean and Split Jerk, Front Squats, heavy this week and took a while to complete. The walking was sort of accidental, went for an hour and a half walk with my neighbor and walked for an hour on my own and then I also cut the grass today.

Comments: Surprisingly good day. Stayed in calorie budget and was very active.

So I’m going home today. (Well home where I live now with the hubby and boys). Spent the last 4 days shredding. Apparently my parents saved everything lol. We did find some cool stuff. My father’s grandparents marriage certificate from Italy along with the papers when his family became legal citizens in the US.
Hope everyone is having s good week so far
