Starting today, September 1., my goal is to lose 1.3 lbs a week - I expect to lose 5 pounds in the month of Sept.
Process goals: eat full meals at 11am, 3pm, and 7 pm. After 7, only protein/MCT shakes. No snacking between meals. Track e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g!
Tricks to help: Chewing gum in the evening and between meals. Rely on drinking tea and broths when I have the feeling that I might start an eating frenzy (but I'm tired and not hungry).
Exercise: running and lifting routine.

September gives me 4 months to turn my 2019 fight against weight around. I started 2019 at 184.4 lbs and I’m 187.6 lbs today. So, in 8 months I’ve gained 3.2 pounds. This is what happens when you do the Keto-ISH Way of Existing (WOE). I’m determined to make some changes these last four months of the year.
Lucky for me, I’ve got two things going for me these last months of 2019. First, I’m in relatively good health. Even though I’ve not been exactly keto clean for the last 9 months, I’m still benefiting from some Non-Scale Victories of my Keto-ISH WOE. My joints feel good and I’m about 80% recovered from a surgery that slowed down my activities this year.
Second and most important, my biggest fan/supporter has agreed to join me in this fight against weight. My wife wants to finish out this year with fidelity to our keto WOE. Together. I think we can close out 2019 with a bang. So, bring it on September. With my biggest ally at my side, we are going to take the ISH out of keto-ISH and return to the KETO WOE that brought us great success in 2018.

After a massive fall-off-the-wagon in late July and most of August, I think I'm back on track.
I have a gala to attend in 3 weeks, and I need to lose 4-5 pounds (I think, hopefully that will be enough) before that so that I can wear an old dress without bursting the seam 😅😅

I did the beef stew (was really good) and the buffalo chicken (frozen, to be tested soon).

So: all I'm saying is I'm annoyed.....went down 1 pound on Tuesday am, up .5 Wednesday and up again .6 Thursday! WTF what's going on? been good, been Keto and just been out to buy the next size up in trousers for our holiday in Oct as no way am I going to get back into my last year's ones before then! If I do then great and I'm still taking the bigger ones.........ahhhhhhh!3
