I saw a post of the weird food for each state.
Ohio is Goetta. I wont even try Goetta because how it looks.

What does your state have?
Georgia -- Peanuts in your coke.... Ok, I've done this. Don't care for it, but my mother LOVES it.
I scrolled thru the others and found 7 others I would or have tried. I'm with you, Julie. Goetta sounds NASTY

I want to hear from some folks from other countries. Are some of these things normal where you are? Also, please don't look at this list and assume everyone in America eats rodent. I would venture to guess that most of us have not.0 -
I'm from Canada so maybe I am glad not to be on that list! LOL!
Anything with weird meat creeps me out. I can't believe people eat some of that stuff!!!2 -
My family are Scottish so it is deep fried Mars bars from us3

Havent looked through them all but South Dakota looks good to me!0

Well, up here in Canada we have some weird ones (especially in Newfoundland, right?) but Québec has perfected the heart-attack-in-a-bowl with POUTINE. It is truly horrific, even though I know it is kind of popular in some places in the US. I have never been able to bring myself to eat one. But they fly off the delivery window at the local snack bar all summer long.1 -

Definitely have some weird ones in Newfoundland. Being a Newfie, I love them all. Some of the good ones are:
Cod tongues
Jiggs dinner
Toutons
Scrunchions

Love peanuts in Coke and boiled peanuts too. Texas food is Frito Pie and it is a staple at our house when I make chili!3 -

I googled all of these and would happily sample any. Thank goodness Cod tongues are not actually tongues
@cre804 Texas Frito pie would be one I would sample, too. I have made a variation on this, but I don't think I could rightfully call it a Frito Pie. BTW -I would move to the Ft. Worth area in a heart beat. I love that part of Texas!1 -

Weigh in Wednesday for me.
PW: 216.8

It's my own fault for overeating last weekend. But I didn't think it was that bad. Knowing me tomorrow will be back down to previous weight, right after my weigh in day of course LOL. Dang it!!!
I have to stop overdoing it on weekends. It seems even going slightly over creates water retention that lasts for days.

That’s one of the reasons I weigh on Friday’s. Sodium 🧂 causes me lots of grief. For the most part, I can count on the water 💦 weight being gone by Friday’s. I know not everyone can weigh in on this day.1 -

Kinda the opposite of Linda, I chose Saturday this time around to try and ensure I have on plan fridays and only loosen the reigns for saturday! I did think about monday to try and keep me on track for the weekends but that would drive me mad at this point in my journey!3 -

I spent just under 10 years living in asia, mainly thailand and Vietnam. Nothing people eat surprises me anymore!2 -
