Hi everyone, thanks for the warm welcome. My name is Christina. I've struggled with weight for as long as I can remember. I have been using MFP for the last couple weeks and it really seems to be helping. For the first time I feel like I believe in my ability to make changes. My brother is getting married next year which is a big motivator. Again, thanks for the welcome and including me. Looking forward to this. One question.. for the steps do I just add them to my weekly weigh in numbers? Like weekly total?
Take care, wishing you all success in reaching your goals!

Hey Christina...good to hear from you! For steps, just record them from your Apple watch, Fitbit or even your cell phone..whatever you use for your step tracker...I'm on Fitbit, so that's what I use...

Hi, Thanks for letting me join in. I am a bit of a troglodyte so forgive me if I make anyone’s day harder by not doing things as I should.
I am a 37 year old Aussie. I work from home (husband and I have a business). We have two kids 6 and 8.
I have been working on my fitness this year, mostly because I have pox mental health, pregnancy and babies destroyed me! I now am feeling able and interested in stepping it up a bit and try and lose some weight to make things easier on my back, hips and knees.
Previously I just ate tiny bits of random food allllllll day. Trying to eat actual meals and think about what I’m eating (so far dismal failure) I have never seriously attempted to lose weight before and it’s just been slowly creeping up and up for the last 20 years and I figure it’s a great time to creep it back down.
Hope everyone had/has a really great start to the Month.
Thanks again,
Kathy5 -

Sorry I think I muffed up the conversion a bit when I registered... also wanted to start at the actual start of this month so can I please change weigh in to Tuesday’s. Thank you sorry.3 -
Well my daughter is back to normal, She had a follow up yesterday, and is now on daily controller meds to help prevent her from getting so sick.
I finally got up this morning and worked out, I wish I had more time in the afternoon to workout, I just dont have the strength or endurance in the morning that I have in the afternoon, but working 7 days a week, I dont want to lose out on more time with my kids, so that leaves me with mornings to workout. I guess its better than nothing.6 -

Hi @KathynDes - just to let you know that you have now been changed to Tuesday weigh-ins. I was visiting the Trimstones chat here (I'm one of the moderators) and caught this so your wonderful Captains won't have to request the change. Good luck with your October weight loss! LAST 90 DAYS
The moderators have put together an extended challenge for the last 90 days of the year. Being the last 90 can be difficult, with EVERYTHING that is going on - these 5 steps are designed to keep you centered during the chaos.
Check out the new EP Moderators' Challenge. Five little things you do EVERY DAY for the last 90 days of the year. You can adapt the list for yourself, but they should be five attainable things that if you do them every day for the rest of the year, you will hit the New Year as a new you already.
