Going to be off the radar til Sunday. Crossing the mountains one more time to see my son and a cycling adventure in as the snows in the Cascades should be coming in a week or so. Have a great weekend everyone!

Not much melting today! It was cold & tonight is to get down to 16*!! I am hoping it warms up & we have some fall weather.
We cleaned, drained & closed up the cabin today! We once again talked of selling it cuz we only stayed overnight there once this past summer! We were just so busy on the farm & there is ALWAYS something to do.
I rode ex bike 8 miles this evening.

Well I made it back from Europe. It was a fun trip - a lot of walking and every now and then a dry spell. Mt. Pilatus was a highlight. I'm back in New York where we've been battling Tropical Storm Melissa. Incredible flooding - no outdoor exercise, just trying to stay safe! But at least it's not 18 degrees out. Brrr.....1 -

I did the toughest most grueling bike ride ever yesterday. Not a lot of climbing, but out in the total nowhere, the Oregon Badlands country. A car every half hour or so, total desolation and absolute quiet. It was more of a mental strength more than a physical strength ride.
10/11 - 13.0 miles turbo trainer
10/11 - 03.0 miles walk
10/12 - 25.0 miles cycling (out in the Oregon bad lands, in the middle of nowhere)
10/13 - 06.0 miles cycling (cycling then drive 200 miles home)
This was a tough ride

No weight loss this weekend. A couple of really tough cases and comfort food was the order of the day. Hopefully a couple days off and a couple of good rides will put me back on the path. I just have a hard time letting go of the cases that don't go well.3
