    Steps Nov 22 --8508

    30 day gym challenge yesterday- went on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

    Hydration- tracking this again did well yesterday.

    Cals- over yesterday but I think I'm under for the week. My weight has fluctuated all week slightly so I will see what it is tomorrow on my weigh in day.

    Well, I have been stressing out about the holidays and how to handle it all. :s I have 7 eating events already scheduled and some of them are in no way on my Keto plan and they can't be altered to fit my plan. Most of these events are traditions that I love and only come at this time of the year. So, I did some thinking and I decided that it really doesn't have to be an all or nothing choice. I'm going to do the best I can at these events while at the same time enjoy my family, friends, and yes the food! I'm not going to strive to do perfect Keto but instead, just try to stick to low-carb eating as much as I can. I will continue my workouts and intermittent fasting. If I end the year without a big gain then I will consider it a success and be grateful. :)

    What about you all? Are the holidays stressing you out? Do you have a plan? I would love to hear from you. :)

    5. Trigger food- ate more simple carbs than usual at parents but avoided sugary food. Had it reinforced that I can't have anything fried at all by getting sick after having some fries.

    @TeresaW1020 Wow, that's a lot of events to be strong for! It sounds like you have a good plan on how to cope. Luckily my family has a semi-healthy celebration. I'm in charge of salad and vegetables so those I'll have big servings of while having smaller servings of other stuff. I plan on having dessert, an Armenian dish, and probably a small serving of mashed potatoes. I just have to remember it's not all-or-nothing. A few of us go for walks after dinner so the extra exercise will be good, I don't want to feel horrible afterward. Good luck with all your meals!

    No change. I didn't eat any sandwiches this week. I did slip up as ate a box of mini chocolate rolls. Yesterday i didn't eat properly too just snacks.
    Its hard to reach for healthy snacks.

    Up even though I was down in cals all week. But I checked a couple days during the week and it was lower so I assume this is just a fluctuation.

    My best NSV this year happened quite recently as in last week! I accomplished 150 Barre classes and had purchased these crazy 😜 leggings six months ago and never felt comfortable wearing let alone in class. I wore those leggings proud and felt confident in class and also had to stop at the grocery store!

    Yay Leona Dixon and Raleigh girl!

    I just posted this in the NSV thread. A few days ago a neighbor was talking to me from her porch and after about 5 minutes she stopped and asked if it was me. When I said yes, she said she hadn't recognized me and that I look totally different with all the weight I lost. She asked me to come over and explain how I did it.

    Year NSVs are being 100lbs down, going off diabetes medication, and being physically able to take care of myself now, I used to need help doing routine things like grocery shopping.

    It's so inspiring to think of everyone's nsvs. I'm having a hard time thinking of one. I have slowly stopped eating out and make almost all my own meals now that is a positive.

    Gym challenge- didn't make it yesterday but today I went for a run and then to the gym and did some work with foam roller and lacrosse ball.

    Cals today- over because I went out for a decadent breakfast but hopefully I can cut back later in the week to make up for it.

    It's not Thanksgiving for me, I'm Canadian, so that won't be a temptation.
