FYI: if you eat a lot of the same foods regularly or if you make meals on MFP and repeat them, it's worth double-checking all the calorie and nutrient values for those foods. I've been checking my reports more closely to see how I'm doing on fiber and vitamins, and I've discovered that there are a lot of inaccuracies out there.9 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 40 minutes today. We joined the Y, yesterday. Not sure if it will be a regular visit, but we had a new Y open on Sept 30. It is about 13 miles from our home, so stopped in yesterday, for the first time, to check out the facility. Walked the track today and made use of the elliptical and the recumbent bike. I'm sure when it's below zero, I will continue to be quite comfortable doing my exercises at home.

3 X’s yes. Slow morning with an hour of Pilates and an hour of yoga, turned it up this evening with an hour of kick boxing.
I love that I can workout this much in winter.
Really good on calories, it’s been challenging but feeling better about it.

Uh oh someone's clicking disagree - hopefully accidentally. We used to have the woo debate about whether it meant woohoo. The posts getting it seem like it's done in error e.g. Accidental while scrolling down. (there was a lovely photo that I couldn't really see why anyone would disagree?! 🤣) ha bet you're all tempted to disagree on this post now...
I think they should add an “agree” and a “funny” one. Although maybe I might think someone was being funny when they weren’t trying to be. So maybe not. I do have a warped sense of humor.5 -

I have a saying I found out there somewhere I have on my apple watch and it keeps me going each day “the body achieves what the mind believes “ I believe that I can, some days are more difficult then others and I am ok if I am not successful today but I don’t give up trying. Point? We all know our limitations but if we can try a little harder we will get where we want to be.6 -

So, after work I am usually so tired but, my goal today at my job and after was to keep moving. (I am sure that I got some steps in today besides the pilates) and I always try to keep in mind what I ate and track it on my phone

Goals/Day/Comments: 30 minutes HIIT strength. 18 holes golfing - cart. Having too much fun being outside but I have to start focusing on work again. Being able to work from home most of the time is both a blessing and a curse. Slightly over in calories if I eat back exercise. If I don’t, way over.

This is a little off the wall but when we bought this house 35 years ago, while selling another house, I envisioned a pool. I actually put a pic from a magazine up on the fridge of the shape and kind of pool I wanted. 6 weeks later I not only found the house but the pool and it was literally the last house listed for sale in our little horse town that I looked at. I know..............this has nothing to do with personal goals such as weight loss or fitness skills, but it was still a dream of mine, and as a swimmer I knew what I wanted............LOL

Today was "on" day for exercise.
So I go out at 19 (F) degrees. I wear my balaclava. My fingers and toes are ok. Sun comes up and everything I got on turns less comfortable.
Take off my balaclava. Oops. That was a mistake.
- I did five hill repeats. That is some exercise calories. (1200)
- I seen a trail runner girl that is kind of regular but not as regular as "the" trail runner girl. But this trail runner girl is faster than her dog. She is faster than me on descent. I'll say a few words about that. We never converse other than "good morning." We are always opposite direction. She descending when I am climbing. But my climb (repeat) is only 1.3 miles. I should be able to finish my climb, turn around and catch her on my descent.
That has never happened.
She runs with a reaching sort of stride. I wish I could take pictures of trail runner girls, but I think I would get in trouble if I did.
Girls - why am I saying girls? I should be saying trail runner ladies or trail runner women?6 -

3X YES today. Happy with what I ate as well, still relying on leftovers/precooked food and quick cooking. For exercise I did 20 min of yoga at home. My first time trying a yoga practice after shoulder injury and PT and I‘m still lacking confidence. Might not try again for a few more weeks.4 -
