Pass day #1 for me today
Exercise: Yes, 80 minutes at the gym including a warm up, back/bicep workout and a few extras because I didn't want to stop
Calories: I don't know because we ate at a buffet and it's just too tough to try and log it. I didn't overdo it though, except for the berry cobbler probably LOL

Budget - yesWarmer than usual. 33 degrees. According to forecast this is the last nice day for a while. Glad I got out.
Heh, Mr Wizard only gave me 900 calories for my exercise today. I was slower than usual and I did hike-a-bike for a few paces, but ain't no crying about it.
I went on some single-track today. I kind of don't really like it that much. That path is kind of choppy due to horse hoof prints and the trail is bounded by cactus. If I have to stick my foot out to catch balance, as often as not I got to stick it into some cactus.
Single-track kind of slows me down. If I just go on the scrabbly road I get my exercise done quicker. So the forays into single-track probably cost me 20 minutes or so. I was still mostly on the road. Descended 1 single-track out of 5 descents.
Not much for people around. A guy in a truck pulled over and yielded so I could rattle on by him. I thought that was cool.
A dog walker girl was trying to amp her gait up to a run. It was on climb. I stayed behind her out of respect and hopefully encouragement. She got to the top a few seconds before I did and made like she was going to continue on for the 10k loop. I turned around, went down the tail of my final repeat. I'd wager she turned around too but waited til I was gone so I wouldn't see her do it. She had an old dog that I think wasn't really up for 10k.

Day off work for me because I'm working this weekend.
Walk at the beachfront with a friend then a yoga class before missioning to the shops which is not my favourite thing to do. I had reward points to use before they expired though so I didn't want to waste. In the end I used them on essentials as there really was nothing I need or want at the moment. We are stocked up on toilet paper and such like.
Got my kidney function results back and just over 6 months post transplant my small single bean is doing 75% of the work of a normal pair of kidneys, so all good!!!
Lunch and household chores plus watching some series with my housemate before jiu jitsu class.
Ate reasonably and within calorie range so a good day for me.4 -
Exercise: Yep, still can't keep the water down after. Perhaps it's morning sickness . JK, but I am going to try riding in the evening Friday.

I like that vid blog that Dixie made. Vlog I think they call it. It has edits from one of her previous vlogs where she encountered that mountain lion.
Thing about it is, whenever I encounter an obscure wild animal, it does everything it can to get away or out of sight. That mountain lion isn't moving away from Dixie, it is looking at her.
It is thinking about whether or not she is too big to subdue. It is casually thinking about eating her.
What to do? See a mountain lion ...
1. Take its picture.
2. Don't run or turn around. Stay facing it.
3. Don't crouch down. Try and look big. Stick your arms up or out.
4. Don't approach it thinking to make friends or pet it. (Heh!)
I wish I could see one before my days are done. I spend a lot of time out there and I know they are around. I know people that have credible claims of having seen one.

Good post. True, from my limited experience with snakes to bigger animals, that most wildlife want nothing to do with us.
A few years ago, my husband and I were walking our dogs along a road through Pennsylvania woods. Big collie, tiny poodle mix. We rounded a bend and faced a coyote. It froze, stared at us, and then disappeared into the brush like a ghost. We immediately picked up the tiny dog just in case and left the area. That coyote was about the size of a small German shepherd with long thin legs and a bushy tail, exactly like the coyote in the old Road Runner cartoons. I'd never seen one in the wild and had to google an image to be sure. No matter what the threat, I feel for wild animals. We've wiped out so much of their habitat.

Coyotes - I live in a city. There is coyotes in the city. They don't seem to be too sensitive to habitat. Coyote jumped over my gate into my backyard and ate the neighbors cat that happened to be in there.
I go out to the rural places. I see evidence of coyote digestive process. Sometimes early I can hear them baying or howling. Kind of spooky. But I don't see them. They don't want to be seen.
I seen a wolf one time by a ski area. It was kind of an area where people don't think wolves still inhabit. He didn't want to be seen. No way could I get a camera out and up fast enough for that encounter. Yep. Like a ghost.
In my experience coyotes aren't much distinguishable from a fox. I don't think a coyote could hold its own against a German sheperd or o full sized collie or poodle. But coyote that is part of team coyote ... look out!2
