Sorry for lateness of post - this is Wednesday's weight, but as I have not really been focussing on food too much, I failed to post.
New month starts tomorrow, so a renewed vigour to get back on the weight loss!
Hope you are all doing ok, I hope to be able to catch up with all in the new thread. Take care xxx4 -
I haven't checked in for a few days. Still working a lot of OT and it looks like it will continue for a while. I have 8 hours extra for this week so I will have a nice paycheck next week.
Have been over on food, having a hard time getting back to tracking and I know that helps me so I did start again yesterday. Some days are better than others on the water and the same with the fruits and veggies.
No exercise yesterday since I woke up with a headache. There won't be any exercise today either. I worked OT today and then went home and slept less than 2 hours and did a couple of quick errands and have an appointment in a few minutes, then have to do some more errands and then having dinner with a friend. Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday were intense workouts with my trainer.2 -
@sleepymom5 Pam just think about what you would have weighed on February 1st in past years. After the holidays etc! I think you did a great job not gaining and staying away from the 200’s.
@lennoncpa that’s a great equation! And look at that loss!!! Wonderful!
My wife is the sweetest most unselfish person. She is there for everyone. We’ve been together almost 8 years. About 4 years ago I declared Molly month on a February. I am doing it again this year. Whether it is a foot rub, mini massage, sweet card or a pair of socks. Everyday in February has something special lined up. I also bought dove chocolates to put a chocolate heart in a surprise location each day. Last time we redecorated her work office, went to Shakespeare theater, had a lunch date, a picnic, played cribbage and cards which she loves. It was a lot of fun.

Weekly weigh-in
Username: 1theresamcvean
Weigh-in week: Week 4
Weigh-in day: Friday
Previous weight: 150.1
Today's weight: 150.0
I flirted with the 140s earlier in the week. I was 149.7 and then came back up. I'm still happy with it though. Perhaps I'll see that number again next week.
It's been a hard week. I've been busy going for tests for the Meniere's and exhausted for days after them, my mom is declining and my sister wants to move her to a nursing home near to her but five hours away from me (I love my sister and want it to be easier for her plus Toronto is too expensive for good nursing homes), but worst of all my daughter's cancer is back and spreading. I feel so much for her. We were at the hospital today, the same one she was born in. She will not lose her life but may very well not be able to have children, which she would have wanted in three to five years. She's only 30, her boyfriend is finishing a PhD, and she's establishing her career. She's so positive all the time but today looked and felt weak and defeated. There may be a way to freeze her eggs at least and there is a program for cancer patients to save some of the cost.
There are so many things to be positive about. I hate sharing bad news.
@rundgrenrocks Fantastic to see you here too, Jenn!!!
@Cafelelia I love your vacation pics! You're beautiful, the view is perfect, the boys look so relaxed, and it must have been just what your MIL needed.
@Mrsbell8well I'm so sorry to hear you have pneumonia. Just awful. Hope you are on the mend. I'm not sure that organizing your freezer is taking it easy though.
@CassieGetsFit2013 Happy belated birthday. I loved being 30!
@txmama63 Great loss! I know you're in a busy time so that must keep you going
@amsandos We've already invaded Harry and Meghan's privacy with paparazzi. So un-Canadian.
@33sandy1223 Congrats on the loss!
@hope002 The slopes are breathtaking and you look like you're having a blast. At least your 8-year-old does...not sure that's you standing beside him in the pic.
@sleepymom5 Ouch about your laptop. I only use my iPad (and it's a big one) for watching Netflix. I'd hate to lose my laptop even for a day. I just realized recently that my MacBook, iPad, and iPhone are all no longer on Apple Care. I'm not going to be happy to see a screen like yours one day. I hear you about the sibling love/rivalry. I have a son and a daughter and they don't always see eye to eye. I feel like a referee sometimes even now. So, I love it when they are happy together. My son is doing built-ins around my daughter's fireplace. That makes me happy.
@twyla77 Lake Louise looks so lovely in your picture. I love the light play with the lamps reflecting on the snow and the sun shining through on the mountain. I haven't been west for too long.
@phoebe112476 Way to go on the loss this week!
@nstephenson01 Oh, that's such a long time for your husband to be away. Where will he be working? Near anyone in the group? You must be looking forward to visiting him. Your final weight this week is a good accomplishment since you were up and down.
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx Welcome! I've only been here a month and have been welcomed like a long-lost friend. Such warm, open, supportive people are in this group and are sure to be extremely helpful to you in this, the next, best phase of your journey. Hugs.
@tryingagain5 I love the sounds of the Make and Take workshops.
@ljdanny I was thinking the same thing. I need to have my physical but need a pedi first. Great loss!
@lennoncpa Thanks for the vegetable broth recipe. I'm going to try it. I love soups of all kinds and good bases make all the difference. About something to keep you going through tax season, I love STASH tea. Flavours like Chocolate Mint or Ginger Fire Chai (which isn't black tea so needs no sweetener or milk) are a treat in themselves. No calories and a great way to sneak in some extra water.
@starcrystal3 Welcome! Looking forward to getting to know you.
@GingerPwr The artichoke chicken sounds great. I love new recipes. How did it turn out?
@JillyBT Oh, that does sound sad for LA.
@jmilner89 Fantastic loss!
@timibotkin Beautiful picture. I love images of paths and snow on trees too.
@Fi45 Focus on feeling better. Be easy on yourself.
@rosieposiesrl I can see how the second decimal point would help. Great loss this week ~ it looked better with the extra decimal.
@KatAdele I'll bet that 0.4 is muscle.
@brown6267 You really step it up. I don't know how to get over 16,000 on a weekday.
@Freeglerock Sorry, I missed you the first time. February will be a new month. You've been through a lot.

Check in for Friday
Food-logged and on track
Water-over 64 oz
Exercise and steps-30 min walk, PT and stretching.
Good day today. Not much to report. I am just checking in quick to see what I missed. Hope everyone has a great Friday night!
@lennoncpa Nice loss! Sounds like you are in a good routine!
@KatAdele That isn't bad at all. Basically maintaining. Hope all is going well.
@pacsnc6 Not bad! At least it is heading in the right direction!
@Freeglerock Thinking of you. Hope things are getting better.
@tryingagain5 I was wondering where you went to. Sounds like you have a busy week. Remember to keep doing all the things you have been using to lose. You have been doing great, continue it even when you have a busy week. Hope you are starting to feel closer to your normal self.
@Mrsbell8well I love the idea of a Molly Month! Although I don't know her personally, I feel like I do! I also agree she does deserve a month of being treated as the special person she is! xoxo
@hope002 Awesome loss and you lost over 13 lbs in January!! You are doing amazing!!
@1theresamcvean That's not a bad weigh in at all, especially with all that you have been dealing with. You will be in the 140s for good before you know it. I am sorry to hear about your Mother. That is hard. I think it would be better being closer to one of you than being 1/2 between and near no one. It is hard when our parents get elderly. I am sorry to hear about your daughter too. I am glad that she can freeze her eggs so she can have children later if she wants to. Prayers that she beats this once again and continue with her life. Hugs to you too Mama. You are truly one of the sandwich generation with caring for parents and children.
@KUMEcyclingteam Nice loss!! Yes! You will definitely be in the 220s next week! Hope all is well. Let us know if we can support you in any way!2 -

I’ve had a decent week, I’ve been over on food the last two days, but I did really well all other days. From Saturday-Friday I had 121,745 steps which I think is a personal best for me. I closed all of my rings on my Apple Watch everyday in January which is a huge NSV for me. The Apple Watch challenge really pushed me to do that this month, but I haven’t been able to find any new challenges for February which has me a little bummed. Hope all is well with everyone!6 -
One other NSV I forgot to mention that helped me this month was that I joined a challenge on Strava to walk 50 km in January, I didn’t find that challenge until mid way through January and it took me up until 8 pm last night to complete but I did it! I was hoping they oils have another walking challenge this month, but so far no luck in finding it!3

I keep posting up dates and they are not saving. I am having some computer problems and having to use my phone.
Apart from one day when I went of the rails l have been sticking to it. I am getting faster and stronger5 -
Great job @timibotkin that is fantastic not least with all your challenges.1
