    Good afternoon OMADers <3

We have now gone from not bothering what's on TV to watching TV hourly for live reports. Even my 2 kids know what time the live reports will start and they will switch to the specific channels. If we don't follow the rules set by our Gov to flatten the curve, we will be worse than Italy as per our Premier :(

I weighed myself today and as expected, I am hovering in my 55kg (120 lbs plus) region. That's not good news but to ensure that I do not overeat every day, I wear my AUS size 8 jeans as its an indication if I do overeat or if I gain weight. PJs can really deceive me!

I have been ensuring that I do not eat more than 1200 calories per day. May be I should lower it down to 1100 calories since sometimes I fail to exercise. What's your take on this?

Yesterday, I am happy that I managed to exercise. I zumba dance for 30 mins and did lower body chair exercises while watching TV. I also took out my vibration plate exercise machine and exercise for 15 mins. I am wondering if any of you guys use the vibration plate for your exercise? Does it help you to loose weight or tonning?

Hope everyone is A-OK. Please stay safe <3<3<3

I have a vibration plate exercise machine here in my home office. I have not used it consistently enough to tell if it helps me to tone or lose weight. Since I am working in my office now, I will make it a point to get on it every day and see what happens while I am working from home which may be at least until 1 May providing things aren't back to normal before then.

I usually get on it after my peloton workouts and I heard it helps to keep you from getting sore and I can say in that aspect it works.

Y'all are FANCY with your vibration plates and such :D I assume it burns cals because it forces micro-balancing and core strength to stabilize?

Anyway, Ced is my updating source - if I put on the news I'll get depressed and wanna eat more so I'm avoiding it like the plague and getting my info from him LOL - we're in full-on lock down here - ticketing for non-essential folks out in the streets - MI isn't playin' y'all LOL

I am very encouraged seeing y'alls workouts! It's inspiring me to try to fit in lil bursts of activity in with my 2-3 times a week workouts :) Just love you guys <3

@LadyBlanks - Thanks for the info <3 I am trying to get onto my vibration plate every evening for 15 mins. Hope it helps me to tone and loose weight.

@mistymeadows2005 - I sure hope it burns calories as I have put on weight :( Am trying to exercise every day again but with this crisis, its so hard. We have to keep listening to see if Stage 3 has been implemented, etc, etc, etc.

Just sharing some silly things that an old couple like us do in a Stage 2 lockdown...

DH asked what we will be having for lunch and I told him that I am making fish & chips for the family. However, I discovered that I only had 3 fillets left. Oh well, I will just eat my favourite Kimchi Noodles and let them have the fish. DH wasn't too happy and asked me what I wanted as he will cook it for the two of us. I jokingly said... a bit of fried rice, a bit of fried noodles, a bit of fish and a bit of chicken will be delicious🥰 And here's what he cooked for us to share

    iyxup0ru6wgb.jpg

So, the total calories including grapes and cheezels =1033.

Exercise : 20 mins walking at home exercise & 20 mins zumba

Just heard in the news that US surpasses China for covid 19😢 Stay safe, you guys❤️❤️❤️. To date, we have a death toll of 13 with 3166 coronavirus positive😢

    ❤️❤️❤️Take care and stay safe❤️❤️❤️

I don't know if I could share that plate. It was so wonderful of the hubby to fix it for you. These are the kinds of reports we need in times like these.

    Good evening OMAD-ers 😘

We are now in the Stage 3 lockdown as we have now reached 4864 cases and 21 deaths. 😥 And still, some people still think its a joke or something and won't follow the restrictions😣

I don't even dare to step on my scale at the moment as I have been grazing😫😣😖 AF is also here and this makes it worse😭 I have been in pain since AF arrived. Just couldn't do my 45 mins exercises. I am trying so hard to get back down to 52kg region but I continuously fail😭

My kids and DH wanted paella and I decided to make Ham, Sausage and Chicken Paella for all of us. I am still trying to keep my calories below 1200. Here's a photo of my paella.

I keep hearing from the news and it seems every country is having a horrible time with this pandemic😢 Please take care and stay safe❤️❤️❤️

Your meal looks awesome. Don't be too hard on yourself, it is a stressful time for all of us.
Our county has over 500 cases now, and about 1500 or so in our state. It isn't getting better anytime soon for us either.....hopefully soon though.

We had a big overnight jump here in PA. We are now at 5,805 cases in the state, but only 21 in my county. Everyone just needs to do what is being asked and stay at home as much as possible.

@LadyBlanks - I really wish everyone will just listen and obey the rules and restrictions. Our PM has given clear instructions NOT to travel overseas and some people still don't care and still travelling :( Take care and stay safe <3

    Good evening OMAD-ers 😘🌹

I decided to jump on my scale today just to see what type of damage I have done. Mr Scale flashed 55.9kg and that means I have 3.9kg to loose. I am going to try mini fasts and see if it will work for me or not. 🤔🤞

I ate normal today. Total calories =1100

Here's a photo of my OMAD which is stir-fry flat rice noodles with chicken meat balls and veggies simmered in egg gravy. Not in the picture, Jersey caramels, chicken soup and prawn crackers.

I also did chair exercises for my lower body. Going to exercise on my vibration plate tonight. I know it's not enough but I am trying. 😐

Hope that everyone is A-OK. Stay safe❤️❤️❤️

JP mini fasts are really nice because you just sub out stuff that's higher calorie for less calorie-dense items that still fill you up!!! Mostly veggies etc. but I often throw 6 oz of lean protein in - chicken breast is around 180-200 cals for 8 ounces!! It's not hard to do if you know what you like and what will satiate you (for me, that's BOAT LOADS of lettuce often paired with a "hot" veggie like steamed broccoli). Even 2 a week will give you an extra 1000-1500 cal deficit which is an extra half pound a week :)

Yep I love the mini fast....it seems that you are eating and really fasting especially if you can get filling low cal foods. Celery is also great to use, and when watermelon gets back in season.....I usually do a couple a week.....

@mistymeadows2005 - Thanks for the info👍 So, I just have to keep my calories around 500 on my mini fast days. Got it👍😘

@volgirl1322 - Thank you for the info too👍 Am going to try it👌

Sometimes on my low calorie days I'll just eat a small salad, p.b. toast or some fruit.

6 more months?!?!?! Our timeline changes so often and now they are recommending us to wear face coverings. I wish I had worn them from the beginning. I have a bandana type face mask that I wear when I go 4 wheeling that I will use when I go out.

Hang in there, JP! This stuff’s HARD. For many of us, the hardest thing we’ll ever have to do. For what it’s worth, I think we all have to do our best and that’s it. Our best, when you want to say emotionally as well as physically and mentally healthy, might be different than at other times.

@Brendalea69 - Thanks for the info ❤️ Over here, they are still discouraging us to wear face masks even though the countries who insist that their nation wears it manage to flatten the curve. Go figure 🙄

    Just a quick post as it's 1.30am here😅

Got onto the scale this morning and I am down to 55.6kg today. Its not a lot but I am happy about it.

Managed to fast till 3pm before I OMAD. Had japanese curry chicken don takeaway today as we had to collect our stock. Due to covid 19, some of our suppliers do not want to deliver. 😩

Here's a photo of my curry chicken don🐔🍛

    2h1radtqqtej.jpg

For exercise, I am now trying to do my upper body workout 15 mins on my vibration Plate and another 15 mins for my lower body workout. Hope this will make it more effective 🙏🤞🤞🤞

Today, the news reported 5795 cases with 40 deaths 😢 Hope we will be able to flatten the curve soon🤞🤞🤞

    Take care and stay safe❤️❤️❤️

Great on the loss!!! The food looks amazing. Over in the US they are telling us now to wear the masks. My city is over 1,000 right now, and they expect a peak either this week or next.

    Stay healthy! <3

Easter is just around the corner and this year its going to be very different as everyone must stay at home. School suppose to start after Easter but from what we heard this morning, there will not be school. Our kids will be doing virtual lessons with their teachers. So far, we haven't receive any information yet. 🤔

We are getting worried as the weather is turning colder. Some news are saying that it will get worse during Winter 😢 Currently, we have nearly 6000 confirm cases with 49 death.

On the OMAD front, the total calories for today is 900. I ate Chicken Udon Noodles, several Brazil nuts and 2 big cups of homemade apple & watermelon juice.

    2k7csohy2kf9.jpg

As for exercises, I am now doing two 15 mins sessions on my Vibration Plate machine. 15 mins with Upper Body Workout and another 15 mins with Lower Body Workout. Have read online that if you exercise with weights while standing on the vibration plate, one can loose weight and fat.

Hope that everyone healthy and safe❤️❤️❤️

The meal looks great! Stay safe and great job on the workout. This too shall pass :). Our schools have been out since mid-March and they aren't scheduled to go back until April 30th but word is they may not go back at all.
