    I had a whoosh! I had to step on the scales twice this morning as I couldn’t believe it. I know some of it is water weight from last week but I am happy. I hope I have the strength to keep a grip on my weekend eating again cause it pays off.

    1. Walk 5.5km
    2. Tai chi
    3. Stay with in calorie goal
    4. Log accurately
    5. 8 cups water minimum

    April Shower II Challenge: Please answer question at the end.

    Make your snack labor intensive. Something hard to peel, long to cut and prepare, pre-frozen to be prepared one at a time. What do you do to slow down the snack attack?

    1. Went to bee hives in the yard.
    2. Took apart the one that swarmed last week in preparation for getting more bees tomorrow.
    3. Carried in all the parts to clean (very hard to do with bees inside.
    4. Cleaned the hive box and supers which hold the honey to repaint later. Easier to do without bees in the hive. (The bees don't appreciate water or a shower.)
    5. Scraped off the propolis (bee glue that bees use to fill in any gaps they don't like) from the frames that hold the honey.
    6. Decapped the honey using a fork because I couldn't find my decapper.
    7. Spun out the honey with my manual honey spinner (centrifuge.) Have to spin the handle quickly to get the honey to empty the frames. Does this count as exercise?
    8. Taste test by licking off fingers. I wash up often and gloves don't keep the stickiness at bay. I hate being sticky.
    9. How many calories in a sticky finger lick?

    Welp, I don’t know what to say. I’m still running, drinking my water, doing IF......and eating like a complete A**! Sorry team but looks like I finished the month with a small gain.

    Wanted to share this cool thing I found in one of my Facebook groups.

    I’m gonna try to compete it for 2020. I went back on my Fitbit and found all my runs since the beginning of the year. I will only use my runs where I completed a full 5 k run. No walks included. So far I’ve got 5 runs in February, 7 runs in March, and 14 runs in April. Again this is for full 5k’s only. 130 down...870 to go. Gonna start coloring in my trainer to look like what I’m actually wearing.

    Not great but I’m a medical worker with a history of emotional eating...hence the weight gain over the years...this team keeps me away from stress eating thank you!

    I walked 6.45km yesterday. I didn’t pay attention to what I was doing and walked further than I intended. I am going to do 5km today as my legs are tired today.

    My leg got the better of me yesterday. I have been having nerve pain again but I can usually walk through the pain. My doctor had increased the dose of my medication for this but I start that on Tuesday. (I get my meds in a blister pack and get a new one every Tuesday ) I am going to rest again today and hope that tomorrow I can get a good walk in.

    Today’s goals
    1. Drink 8 cups of water
    2. stay within calorie goal
    3. Log accurately
