Hello Team. My name is Mari and I am co-captain with @lindamtuck2018. I am here to help her out when she needs me and I am taking care of the step challenge for her. Thank you Linda for being a great leader for our amazing team! Just a reminder, we are currently looking for a couple of people to help us keep up with our teammates posts and help with motivation and support.
A little about me, I am 41 years old mom of 3 boys (2 teens and one preschooler) and married to a great and supportive guy. I've struggled with my weight my whole life and am finally very close to my goal. I've been stuck at my current weight range since last December and am desperately trying to start losing again. I’ve managed to slowly get the trend back down this past month but I’m still struggling. I have to keep in mind the it’s a life long journey and not a quick fix so I will never stop trying to better my health and fitness.
My stats:
5’6”
HW: 338.8
LW: 163.9
CW 191.6
July goals:
•Log all food. The good the bad and the ugly!
•Stay on or under my allowed calorie goal.
•Do at least 30 minute workout each day.
•Drink at least 2L water each day.
•Reach at least 10,000 steps each day.

Overall yesterday was a pretty lazy day. I didn’t get my nap as the grandkids stayed until late afternoon. I am going to try and accomplish something today.
The pool I go to will not be opening to non residents at this point. I go to a pool and small gym that is part of a townhouse complex. My daughter lives there so the kids can go 2 days a week. It is sad because I normally spend a lot of time at the pool with them. I taught both my granddaughters how to swim.
I walked as soon as I got up this morning. Today I am going to be mindful of getting my water intake as our supper is a little higher in sodium than I would normally have.
Today’s goals
1. Walk 30 minutes minimum ✅
2. Stay within calorie goal
3. Drink 8 cups of water
4. 10,000 steps
5. Bed by 10:30 pm
Got you in for the step challenge! I do hope you are able to get to the pool soon. It’s such a great workout.888Angie888 wrote: »Steps 6/27: 21,123

Welcome to the team @stephipeanut!
Hi team DOWNSIZERS! I'm Stephi from Germany (please don't mind my English spelling). I am 28 years old and currently weigh 87 kg / 191.8 lb. Four years ago I weighed 65 kg / 143.3 lb. Since I changed my job (I now work in an office) and have been in a relationship for just over 4 years I have gained a lot of weight. I would love to maybe one day fit back into my old clothes (since I have so many) so I'm looking forward to the next weeks with you guys.
My highest weight was: May 2019: 94,6 kg / 208.5 lb
Lowest weight without proper effort: September 2019 80,3 kg / 177 lb
Current weight: June 2020 87 kg / 191.8 lb
Since I don't have a step tracking device except from my iPhone which I don't carry around with me all the time I can't really track my exact steps but my goal is to go for a 5 k / 3.1 mile walk every evening.
I eat mainly plant based and try to cook everything myself. I prep smoothies in mason jars and freeze them so I haven't really been weighing out all my ingredients.
That's all for now but I will be checking in every day and cheering you guys on.
I'm very happy to be part of this team! x2 -

A new month is here. Sorry i missed yesterday’s check in. I haven’t been myself for a couple of days and I figured out why this morning. It’s TOM for me. I’ve stopped IF for this week as I need all the energy I can get. I’m continuing my workouts and will do my best to control cravings. I totally failed yesterday and didn’t even bother logging anything in. Whatever it’s done and moving on.
Today I’ve finished my workout and will now start some cleaning. I’m moving my old sofa out of the living room as the new one will be delivered today. Then the usual school runs and tonight it’s Zumba 💃🏻
For the self care challenge I don’t really have a workspace and my room is pretty empty as I’ve recently cleared it out so the next best throng was to clean out my fridge.
Wishing you all a great start to the month and the week! 💪🏻💪🏻
July goals:

You have a great attitude about moving on from Sunday. If we let one messed up day bother us it could end up being a week messed up. I know you are going to have a great week!1 -

Welcome Stephi!! You've joined a great team. Linda and Mari are wonderful co-captains and really help keep us motivated. Mari pointed out to me that I did not need a step device to "count steps" ... just estimate 5 min = 500 steps and track it that way; so that's what I've been doing. I'm lung compromised so can only do about 5 minutes at a time so my count's not large ... but is more than I've done before so that's good!
Again, Welcome ... and have a great day!1 -

Quiche is so easy to make yourself and since they don't sell any "ready made" ones over here in Germany I am "forced" to make them myself. I just throw everything in what we have laying around. You can even make them "crustless" if you grease the baking pan well enough and like that you are saving some carbs.
I would have eaten too much pizza if I would have gotten one. I can't portion properly so it was better not getting any and only stealing a bite from the hubby.2 -
Sunday’s check in
Calories: under
Exercise: 48 minute walk
Water: ✅
Steps 6/28 10,958
Self care challenge: declutter and cleaned stand in kitchen (long overdue)
My water weight from my pizza indulgence Friday night is almost gone. We had breakfast for supper last night so I think the bacon and sausage will cause it to hang around for another day or two.
I am trying this week to rid myself of my Cheerios for a snack at night habit. They are to high in sugars and my blood glucose readings have been sneaking up in the mornings lately. I like them cause I would eat one cheerio at a time and it makes the snack last forever. Now to figure out something I like that will like and take me awhile to eat.
Have a super day all!

1. Stay within calorie goal

Your smoothies sound delicious. I used to make smoothies all the time. Time to start again. Sounds like you had a lovely day.0
