Three yeses but only just. Exercise was 50 mins yoga. No walking as Iβm resting my dodgy calf. Itβs so hard! Iβve done 5000 steps today which actually feels like an achievement in a weird way.
Anyway, tomorrow Iβve booked a swimming slot back at my gym (itβs their re-opening day after lockdown) so a good opportunity to exercise without hurting the calf. I hope it heals soon as Iβm feeling a bit penned in without my nice long dog walks. And itβs only been one day π€£π€£.8 -

Love today's picture. Today I will use my last pass day. I worked late today and had nothing in the fridge to heat up quickly while working during supper. So I grabbed some things that put me over. This led to some yummy junk food since I blew the calorie goal. But a new week is starting and I will have to have a better plan for days like this as work seems to be ramping up again. Maybe I will have to make some frozen meals to pop in the oven when I don't have time to cook and don't have any prepped meals left from the weekend before.
One week left everyone - we can do this!

This was a challenging day.
After two weeks, our adult children and their spouses who were visiting from the West Coast left. Our 11 year old granddaughter Phoebe leaves tomorrow. Rose and I will be a couple again by tomorrow evening. It's been great to have them with us but it does make it very difficult to maintain healthy habits.
Just made it today with a 3 yes day. I should get much more exercise tomorrow as I'll be working on the farm.8 -

24th July
Exercise: Yes, about 40 minutes walking
Calories: No. As I was eating bits and pieces, not proper meals, the shop-bought chicken curry along with the other bits put me over.
Tracking: Yes, eventually, tracked everything, but it's so much harder to do that after such an unplanned day!
My partner is due back tonight and in a funny way this puts routine back into my day. Things one doesn't always appreciate!
@TerriRichardson112 Happy Wedding Anniversary to both of you! You must have been a child bride! Is your husband as fit as you are?5 -
Heβs very fit π in all respects.5

Yes x 2 for Friday
I went over my calorie limit at dinner, (which was fuzzy tracking), using a fourth pass day puts me out of the circle.
I still made really good choices even though I knew the meal would push me out of the circle...in the past my husband and I would have literally eaten twice the amount of food! I'm really proud of that.4 -
Yes x 3, walk/run 4 miles w dog.
I inched the run part up to 10 minutes. Which is a big deal for me, lol. Then I took @katiecan2019's advice and stretched and rolled everything out, so pain isn't as bad. I really want to make this running work, because I just love it! And my dog is getting in such good shape.5 -
Yes, yes, and yes. Looking forward to a day when the heat and humidity are lower. I love the long days of summer, but I'm really more of a fall person.2

July 24: 3x for me. A rest day, but I managed to walk for 30 minutes.2

Happy anniversary Terriβ£οΈβ£οΈβ£οΈβ£οΈ@TerriRichardson112
54 years is awesome!! ππͺπ»πΎπππ2 -
Pass Day #2 - not accidental, I decided to indulge some dessert, no, actually a lot of dessert... one problem I have with Pass Days is it leads me to eat more in that day rather than spreading it out over the next 3. On the other hand, those are the rules & theyβve worked over 2 years for me! Thank you!
Reason 1: Too much work stress, but my extra 500 calories were weighed and tracked to the gram.
Reducing cals or upping exercise 100 cals each of 5 next day - and no harm will have been done.
Work stress is over now by 95% & ends Tuesday. π
Reason 2: Too little sleep 2 nights in a row due to unsettled aged cat.
Reason 3: Old habit of celebrating completing a hard, long work push (not how I do it, but boss man changed whole plan at last minute...grrr) with a overeating episode.
Back on track now - with additional insights going forwards πͺπ»β€οΈ3 -
Pass day. Happy, happy anniversary @TerriRichardson112 ππΎ2
