    Sharing Saturday!!

What's your plan for the week? Share away!
    Jessica

My husband is going back to work tomorrow, after being furloughed since April. It will be strange to have the house to myself. I'll still be working from home until at least September.

Despite the fact the Garmin site is still down 🤬 my plan for the week is to make time for more exercise. My gym is open today finally (hurrah) but it will be difficult to go in much because we're slowly building up time alone for the dog. I'll do a spin class whilst my husband is home in the evening though and I need to get back on the home gym weight sessions. Maybe I'll even squeeze in a run this afternoon! 🏃‍♀️

Hey ya'll...need all my walkers to take a look at the chart...we have quite a few holes this week and some stretching into last week. Please send me your updates and let's get those holes filled in...ya'll know how I get about my spreadsheet!

    Jessica

Hi Jessica - I'm one of the big holes but the Garmin site has been down for four days due to a ransomware attack, so I can't get my data. I can't even access the help function to find out whether I can view previous days steps on my watch. Sorry! I'll post an update as soon as I can.

My all time high this year was 154, so I'm pretty happy with the downward trend given that I am spending so much time in an environment where it is so easy to get food!

I rarely plan my meals. I usually just choose a protein for the day and brainstorm it. I like to do a different country based cuisine each day. Today, we made an Irish stew which was requested by my daughter. Ive had a request for sushi one day this week. This is my birthday week so I have to find myself a semi healthy cake recipe. I'm leaning toward a strawberry shortcake.

I suck at meal planning. I basically hate cooking. My husband does the cooking and I do the cleaning. I also keep my freezer stocked with some go to meals. Smart ones, frozen veggies that can be roasted, chicken nuggets etc. I make impromptu omelettes or simple nut butter sandwiches once or twice a week.

I also don't plan. I've tried, and done all my shopping, then usually decide I don't want that and order pizza. Mostly I check out what's available for clearance meat after shift and go from there. Hubby requested sandwich fixings and I went a little overboard. Mostly sub style sandwiches this week.

I love the time of year, when all of the fruits and vegetables are coming through in my allotment and garden.

I've had raspberries and blackberries for breakfast.

    97szeusaffn2.jpg

Last night we had roasted pattypan squash, courgette (zucchini), shallots & cherry tomatoes for dinner with garlic, oregano and thyme. All ingredients homegrown (with the exception of the olive oil, salt and pepper). I'm going to make it again later this week and remember to take photo (rather than truffling it straight down :# ) and I think I'll post to the F2F recipe thread:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10803881/recipes#latest

It would be great if we could get some more healthy recipes on there. I'm always looking for ideas. @Jax_Grim sounds like you might have some great recipes to contribute. I love homemade sushi. Yum!

I usually loosely plan for the week, like I would have an idea of what foods I may be eating depending on what's in the house and also what I may get groceries-wise, but it's not written down. I do try to plan for the current and sometimes the next day though. I will sometimes fill the food log in ahead of time the night before and/or the morning before. All subject to change but when it's filled in, I'm usually sticking fairly close to what I put down.

@jessicakrall8 I'm packing up the scale for my move cross-country. It's not clear when my movers will be arriving, so I won't be able to weigh-in for 2-3 weeks. Wish me luck without my daily checks!

@mynacha73 Good luck on the move!! Where are you leaving and where are you going? Hope it's a grand adventure!!! I always loved moving to a new place...all new things to discover! Be safe!!

Half way through with my non stop work weeks, so it feels like anyways. I was very please at a message i got last night saying they were over staffed today and i only had to work 3pm to 9pm, instead of 7am to 9pm. So I threw in an extra workout this morning. I did total body yesterday thinking that I wouldnd have time to workout the rest of the week so i did legs and back today because they seemed less worked than the rest. I also ran a bit on the treadmill just because its good for the heart.

What has everyone done to work on their fitness this past week?
