I don't know why I can't do better than this. I just hover around 230ish back and forth. Well, I know why, I do ok, then overeat, and back and forth. Summer has always been an issue for me. When it's hot, I don't feel like doing much, so I eat and don't think about the cals - yet I know counting cals works. Ice cream. Who has half a cup as the suggested serving size?! LOL.
I struggle with ice cream big time! Luckily, the basement gym stays at about 60 degrees all year round, so I make myself work out more to earn some extra ice cream lol1 -
Second week of aerial acrobatics done! I learned more moves and poses and was able to do better on the ones that were introduced last week. Onwards and upwards!5

I LOVE ice cream but we make it ourselves from frozen bananas. Not super low calorie but:
1. Crazy delicious
2. Portion controlled (you have to eat it as soon as you make it so you’re limited to what you just made
3. No weird additives, preservatives etc
4. You can experiment with what ingredients you like. I like bananas, vanilla and a dash of almond milk but my husband likes cinnamon in his. Blueberries are also a fantastic addition when in season.
I have to admit though my serving is a lot bigger than half a cup :-)

Hmm, I’m better with ice cream than I thought! I have small dessert bowls that are one cup when filled to the brim. With ice cream that doesn’t fit every corner even in the bottom and doesn’t fill it like liquid, I might be closer to half a cup than I thought. That doesn’t account for second servings...
My weight just Does. Not. Go. Down. Today it’s probably just carb bloat + doms bloat after the acrobatics class, but still. Anyway, my scale calculates body fat percentage and that’s been coming down slowly. So I calculated, and according to my scale I’ve at least lost a pound of fat during all this yo-yoing while staying the same weight. I’m definitely taking the fat percentage with a grain of salt, but still.
I’m getting a body composition test done in exactly two weeks, I’m kinda excited and nervous.1 -
Been super crazy this week!! Gonna work out today though!! Gonna track my fooood. Gonna get my head out my *kitten*. PMS has got me eating everything!! Ugh2

Whoo boy, what a day. We are in the middle of firing someone and it’s not going too well, mostly because the person doesn’t understand and refuses to understand employment law. Currently I’m actually hoping they get a lawyer because any lawyer in the country would tell them they’ve misunderstood, their claim is frivolous and we have done everything correctly. It still sucks to deal with this, and I’ve been stuck on my email all night, even throughout the pizza dinner with my high school friends. Luckily they’re all very supportive and understanding about needing to split my focus to that tonight. That load of crap and dealing with the aftermath continues tomorrow at work.
Also, a couple of weeks ago I mentioned my friend breaking up with her long-term fiancé I’ve also known for more than a decade. Well, the dude has a history of serious mental health issues, and the problems have manifested through gun fantasies in the past and been triggered by stressful life events. Guess which recently single dude’s Instagram story was random unexplained gun pictures tonight... so tomorrow I have to start dealing with that and checking in on him to see where his head is at, and possibly inform and warn his family members (who are pretty crazy too, tbh). Obviously it’s not my responsibility but I’m still technically friends with the dude, possibly the only person in his current social circle that knows the full mental health history, and I need to find out if he’s really spiraling in case my friend needs to prepare and take some safety measures to protect herself.
Still, I had a really nice pizza dinner with my friends and didn’t even go over my calorie goal, so that’s something. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day and both difficult situations get cleared.5 -

Yay happy with the loss this week but I really want to achieve -2lbs in this coming week!! Still wanting to get to -25lbs by September but I’m on holiday at the moment in Barbados so I’m trying to enjoy but not go OTT!!6 -
I need to learn patience. I’m about to jump on the walls because my weight won’t go down fast enough, even though it has every reason not to: I have sore muscles, have been averaging above my calorie goal, started a new sport, had a crazy week at work, didn’t get enough sleep and stopped taking the pill just last week so my hormone levels are readjusting.
Through all this, I’m still losing weight veeeeery slowly and I just hit the 95s (211.4, more precisely) on the scale for the first time. Unless I magically whooosh several pounds for tomorrow (on top of already losing 2,2lbs since Thursday) I won’t reach my pledge of 211.5lbs trendweight tomorrow.3 -

Crazy busy at work. I normally work a 4 day week. Today will be #7 of 9 straight days. 10 - 12 hrs/day. I'm a bit tired but exhilarated at the same time. Most days I don't even have time for lunch. You'd think I'd lose more - but - I'm OK with anything as long as it continues creeping downwards.3 -
