@clepant - so sorry about your pup. I hope you find comfort remembering all the years of love.
@k80flec - hope you continue to improve
@darkrider42 - working from home sounds like the next best thing to retirement LOL!
@JoeMO - I'm not the tech expert Dave is, but are you able to click on the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet? i can see separate tabs for July and August.
I was away from home this week doing some family business, but I'm back now and had a nice run this morning. Have a great weekend.0 -

Thank you for all the kind words about my sweet pup, Merit. Dean, you always seem to know the right things to say to make my heart feel a little better. It is incredible to think she was one hour from being euthanized when a gal from a husky rescue pulled her when the dog warden pleaded for her to take her. He put her in his truck each day for several weeks when he went out to pick up strays and she road in the front seat with him. He didn’t want to come in and feed one dog over the weekend and decided it was time to let her go. From Toledo, she went to Columbus, Ohio because they needed the space. And from there I found her and drove from Pittsburgh to get her. Nothing special about her, but told she was really sweet and I felt like God wanted me to take her. She had separation anxiety, she was someone’s dog because she was spayed and had stainless steel staples still in her till the day she died. She even knew a few tricks. She went on to become a therapy dog in hospice. We named her Merit because she was worthy of saving.
She was the first dog in our area to acquire MRSP, (the dog form of MRSA) in her bladder. No one knew much about it In 2009 and it took three rounds of antibiotics for my vet to send her for a bladder culture. I ended up counseling pet owners in the US through Bella Moss Foundation on treatments. Jill Moss lost her dog, Bella to MRSA and no one would help her. Her dog literally died in her arms in the vets exam room because none of the nurses or techs would come in to help her. They were afraid of catching it. (Sounds like Covid all over again.) I worked with human specialist in Canada and Florida as well as vets at Ohio State. I ended up with a vet in Great Britain that was treating animals holistically for it. He was her vet for a good year and a half. My vet did not believe in any of it, but he saw first hand that it was what saved her. She only had two antibiotics that her strain was not resistant to and the first one did not work. It came back. The second could destroy her kidneys or liver so I went holistically because Dr. Allport was having good results. He built her immune system back up since they had pumped her with so many antibiotics.
I have been sleeping downstairs with her for the past four years because she could no long climb the stairs. She would sit at the bottom of the steps and cry because she wanted to be with us so aI moved down with her, It also worked out because I was taking care of Finny who had anal sac cancer and my dad. This week was the first time I slept upstairs again.
God gave me a special blessing with her on her last day. Merit woke up just shortly after I did at 6am. She never gets up before 7am. But she insisted on being up. She ate a good breakfast. My hubby went to get some tests done and she was a little restless. I ended up sitting on the floor with her and she fell asleep with her head in my lap for a couple hours. It was if God wanted me to spend the last moments of time with her before he took her. Anyway, thank you for the love and kind words. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

@JOEMO - Glad Janet was able to help you get it figured out. Yup, you can navigate all over the sheets and tabs no problem. It just won't let you edit anything. There are some graphs on the different tabs that might interest you. I'm sometimes a little loosey-goosey about remembering to update them every month so if you ever notice they're not up-to-date, feel free to nudge me.

@clepant I'm so sorry! I completely know what you're going through. I had to put my cat of 16-1/2 years down in March...just before all this covid mess broke out. It's so heartbreaking, and I still find myself thinking of her and just sob. It will get better, though! Hugs to you!!!!2
