    @brandi_84 that's a great goal. I haven't been doing as well with my fruits and veggies as I had been. Grocery shopping today so hopefully I can get better at it.

    My big girls had their first day back to school (virtual learning) today. It was rough! I managed to squeeze in my workout but I didn't have a chance to sit down and eat lunch until almost 2. Not sure if my workouts will fit in everyday. They are supposed to do 30 minutes of PE everyday so I might try and combine my workout with theirs πŸ˜‚

    @thedestar I think that doing your workout with your girls is a great idea! I'm sorry I forget their ages, but there's so much you can do! You can go out side and kick a ball around, play catch or frisbee (I'm horrible at that LOL), go for hikes or bike rides, do lunges / high knees / bear crawls up and down the driveway. You can go old school with hopscotch or double-dutch jump rope. And I'm SURE there's Youtube videos out there to do with your kids. When my daughter was little I had a video called Working Out with Mommy and Me (she's 32 now :o ) I'll bet they'll enjoy playing with Mom. <3

    @richmondwriter You are definitely on the right track, awareness is key. I don't recall how much over you were on other days by 161 calories is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Maybe check your 7 day average and see where you stand?

    I caved(damn shark week) for a muffin(double chocolate deliciousness) at work, and stayed on track until dinner where I got a lettuce wrapped bacon cheeseburger from Five Guys, but I fell victim to the "little" fries. My tummy is NOT enjoying the carbs. Tomorrow is back on track, with my shopping list is written and meal plan for the day is written down.

    That all sounds delicious, though. The little fries are definatly not little. That's ok to treat yourself sometimes. It is also good to remember how the foods made you feel.
    I'm not giving up carbs completely, but I finally had to give up the French bread I was using for sandwiches because I felt like that was what was making my me feel blah after I ate.
