    @mari_moulin - wishing you a speedy recovery

@lindamtuck2018 - I can’t function before coffee either. Great job!

@Megan_smartiepants1970 - I’m so glad you are pain free. Thank you for stepping up and co-leading our team.

@Tazaria87 - way to stick to your step goal!

@onward1 - stacking wood is definitely a work out. It must feel good to get all of that accomplished

    @28Haveitall2020 - nice loss!

If you see an insightful marked on your weigh in post, I do that so I know I have entered it into the spreadsheet.

I have actually been wondering who was doing that lol

    Check-in for Monday 8/31

    Calories: under
    Water: 113oz
Exercise: 5.6 mile trail ride (bike)
Steps: 3790 (below goal but the bike ride was more than enough exercise)

I weigh everyday and I am seeing the scale creep up despite staying on track. I know there are lots of variables and it will settle back down. I just hate seeing it go in the wrong direction. I just hope it rights itself by weigh-in day.

    Weigh in Day is Monday

    Treadmill 1 mile --- Yes x 2 miles
Water (60 oz) -- 72 ounces [note I did decide to change this from 128, I will drown if I drink that much.. haha]
    Workout 3x week -- Tues Sept 1-yes
    2000 steps -- 8025 steps today
    Logged all food/drink -- yes

Question on "steps"... do you count treadmill workouts in steps? I did today, but wondering if that is the "normal" thing to do. Example:
    Total Steps today 8025
    Treadmill AM was 2641 steps
    Treadmill PM was 2648 steps
Leaving a remainder of steps from other activities today at 2736 steps
So are my steps 8025 or should they be 2736?

That scale can be so frustrating. I was up almost 4 pounds this morning. I suspect with me sodium is partly the reason. Stay on track and it will go down.

I agree with Megan, count the 8025. It is the total steps for the day.

Question regarding your steps. I am not sure if I have your Sunday steps. Can you confirm them for me?

@lindamtuck2018 - I suspect sodium is my reason as well. I checked the label and the carne asada seasoning that I have been using for days on my grilled chicken breast is LOADED with sodium. No wonder it tastes so damn good.

    Update for Tuesday 1st September

    Steps:5058

It is really frustrating how sodium causes some people trouble and others none. My husband loves salami and I don’t get for him too often. I decided to have a couple of pieces. I blew up like a balloon.

Keep working at it and you will get the snacking beat. I like that you are tracking everything. I think since I started this I have only not logged maybe 3 days. By logging I am being honest with myself. Do you snack at a particular time of day?

Hang in there. With yesterday behind you, today is a clean slate to meet your calorie goal. One thing that does help me is to pre log my day. Actually, every Sunday I log my food for the week. That way I know what I am going to have and by sticking to what I logged it is easier to stay within my calorie goal.

    Tuesday’s check in
    Calories: under
    Exercise: 31 minute walk
    Water: ✅
    Steps: 6,560
    DBF: 4

I missed my step goal yesterday and I don’t see it happening today. My arthritis is really bad today. I think I am in a flare as I have been really fatigued lately too. I have sjogrens as well so that’s contributing. It is an autoimmune disorder. Maybe I am just getting old. 😂 I will be back in fighting form in no time hopefully.

    Happy Hump Day!

    Today’s goals
    1. No binge eating
    2. 30 minute walk
    3. 8000 steps
    4. clean for 30 minutes

Are there any foods you have to avoid as you can’t stop at one? What are some alternatives you have found for this food item?
