Now that I am not having any pain in my feet ...I am moving a lot more ...it feels good ....still scared to walk my dogs outside since that is how I fractured my foot twice and had to have surgery on the one ...so I have been doing Leslie Sansone Dvd's and walking around my house like a weirdo LOL...besides cleaning etc .2 -
9/16: no steps (forgot my Fitbit on the charger #FAIL)
9/17: 6,787 steps
Yesterday I worked my tail off for 14 hours and came home and pretty much cleaned up and went to bed.
Today I was off but got up and cleaned out and washed the car, went grocery shopping, changed our doorknobs, took my kiddo to the specialist (not so great news there), and did some maintenance cleaning when we got back. Also made the kids a bunch of muffins so I was productive.
I was actually telling my friend today how different things are. A few months ago my days consisted of sitting on the couch eating and watching tv absolutely dreading having to get up and clean anything. Now, I look forward to it and enjoy seeing how much I can do. Whereas before, the simplest things used to wear me out. Even with the kids AC going out, (I'll be putting a new one in on Saturday) I redid their room the other day which is huge because I couldn't tolerate the heat before.
I did put some jeans on and a regular t-shirt when we went to the doctors today. I think it was the first time I actually SAW my results. I mean I have seen the scale moving and I feel soooooo much better but my reflection is starting to show it too. I was EXTREMELY proud! Comparison photo from May 1st to today below!

With I still being in the triple digits here ((108* today), all of my steps are indoors. Even my dog looks at me like I’m a weirdo as I’m walking laps around the kitchen island. Lol 😂2 -

I couldn’t believe the scale today and must have weighed 5 times. That’s puts me over 15lbs LTD and 2.9 for the week. To acknowledge this and my BMI now firmly under 35, I have changed my bitmoji from the largest body to the second largest 😂

Check-in for Wednesday 9/17
Steps: 8,322
Calories: under 1000🙀
Water: 102 oz
Closed Ring Streak: 10 days 🤩
I have been under 1000 calories a few times recently. I know it’s not good and I need to do better.
Please eat more on those days! I know some days are harder than others to eat but it is important. I guess you couldn’t close your diary being so far under.Megan_smartiepants1970 wrote: »boy was it a busy day for me ....worked out ...cleaned house....made new keto/low carb meals ...I was on my feet most of the day ...steps 18,270...9/16: no steps (forgot my Fitbit on the charger #FAIL)

I feel you being scared. I don’t walk outside once their is snow and ice on the ground. I fell once and it led to 3 surgeries on my knee. One was a replacement.Megan_smartiepants1970 wrote: »Megan_smartiepants1970

I don’t know what to tell you. The only thing I can think of is if you are being on point with your food maybe you need to reduce your calories further. Those calculators are just general for a specific age, height, activity, etc. Maybe the allotted calories are just too much for you.Username: azkunk

DBF: 1
PW 200.6

Not surprised at the gain. It has been a rough week and I was awake most of the night. I drank a boatload of water. Not the thing to do when you are weighing in a few hours later. I fell asleep around 6am and I didn’t wake up until they came in the apartment to do some maintenance. It was embarrassing as I was still in my pjs. Drinking some coffee to wake up and then I am going for a walk.
Today’s goals
1. No binge eating
2. Minimum 20 minute walk
3. Bed by 10:30 pm1 -

Check where your goals are, before when I started this I had mine set at 1500 calories, not active and I was loosing. Now I am at 1200 and keep bouncing between 3 and 4 pounds. Part of mine is "cheating" on my food, but when I was doing the 1500 I did the same thing and lost, which is why I don't worry too much about going over on calories.

I do the Tdee method where exercise is included and I eat close to the same calories daily ... I used a Tdee calculator and it is giving me 2007 calories to eat daily ... When I exercise you will see that I put a 1 next to the calories burn because I want the calories to be close to 2007 ... I am thinking about going back to the MFP method next month ...I like to change things up including different workouts each month ..0 -

I met all my other goals. The scale today was flat which is fine with me. I find the scale tends to creep up over the weekend and then starts to come down by Tuesday.
Has anyone seen the movie, ‘The Social Dilemma’? It’s everything you already know but it was pretty powerful to watch with my teen and tween. After watching it my husband and I decided to give up social media (Facebook and Instagram). We deleted our accounts yesterday and it free really freeing. I’m not giving up MFP though. This site is a necessity!1 -
