Well, this is not the way to go. But I'm having stomach issues and not sure WTH is going on w/my digestive system- I feel bloated and upset; hopefully, this works itself out - I have been consistent with my workouts and tracking what I'm eating-maybe too many veggies-my stomach doesn't take kindly to having too much fiber intake.
Sorry☹
No apologies!!! Take care of yourself!!!! Try some magnesium citrate. It works wonders for me for occasional bloat and to get things moving again. I like the gummies because I’m a child and can’t take a real vitamin
I 2nd the gummies and you can usually find them on Amazon for a BOGO deal. The taste is kinda tart to me but def help with some bloating.
Thanks b/c I have not heard of those before!! Interesting....and thank you for the support-it means alot 😘1 -
ATTENTION!!!
There is a new function on our spreadsheet that will calculate your total loss for celebration purposes. We are missing few highest weights. If you don't mind sharing, please post or message me your highest weight.

So far I've been on-track with my calories this week! I want to weigh myself early, but I told myself I'd limit myself to once a week so I didn't worry too much about the daily flux. Staying strong, and reading all your guys posts for inspiration!5

Well, the past two days have been a dumpster fire. Tuesday was a lot of random snacking, but I decided to excuse that and Wednesday as getting rid of last of the Christmas chocolate. Thought I was done with the munchies for the day/week on Wednesday night, until my husband bought a giant chocolate bar for some reason and half an hour later the news exploded. I stress ate almost the entire chocolate bar. Not good. Also didn't make it to bed until 2AM as I doomscrolled all possible news outlets and was way too wound up to sleep. Great start to the workday today.
(just to make sure: I have no intention of discussing politics here, this is merely about my stupid reaction to said politics and events)8 -
Good morning crew!!!
@hipari alluded to Yesterday’s train wreck above. She is absolutely right, this is not the forum to air political beliefs, grievances, or anything else. Please keep your political thoughts to those forums.
However, it is very fair to say “I had a stressful day today and binged.” Considering probably +75% of us are in the US, we will understand.
Let’s all just keep it nice!!!
Thank you!!4 -

I totally support your choice to weigh once a week. I’m the other extreme. I weigh every day. I’ve been on the journey for a while and have embraced the fluctuations.
Yep, I’m a nerd and have a spreadsheet for that, too!!!! My goal for myself was to be under 170 for the week by my Saturday weigh in... I was 169.8 this am. Yay me!!!
The bottom line is, do what makes YOU feel comfortable!! You got this and we are here to cheer you on!!!

The world around us impacts us. Watching news around the world is stressful. We are all under an insane amount of pressure just from that!! Yesterday was a hard day to watch no matter what your views are. @hipari I had to turn it all off. It's all noise. Stress I don't want or need!! Don't let it get to you!!! If you ever need to vent or get it all out send me a message I'll listen!! 😻😻5

We are on the same track, from the Christmas candy to the doomscrolling after bedtime. My son moved to DC in September so once I heard the news I was naturally very concerned. Fortunately he doesn’t live very near the Capitol, but he does live near some hotels and I worried things would get tense after curfew. Basically, my productivity for the day went out the window after lunch. So I got up this morning to another one pound gain and this is just not acceptable. Plus, we are going to Houston to celebrate my daughter’s birthday this weekend so that’s basically three days of eating out and around 9 hours sitting in the car over the weekend. I’ve just gotta keep stable over the weekend and my January 1 will start on Monday.

Yesterday I kept on track, thankfully, but mentally and emotionally exhausted from yesterday-too much☹ I watched it too much....shame on me so tuning it out today to keep my sanity.
I was soooooo exhausted I debated on cancelling my barre class @ 2AM b/c it was 4 hours before my class; otherwise, I'm charged $15 for cancelling less than 4 hours.....BUT I WENT!!!
That makes 6 days in a row for barre😘4 -
Good morning y'all. I totally agree with all of you about the importance of acknowledging stressful events, and that they can happen in our lives, no matter your views. I'm your Canadian friend from the north offering everyone support in these stressful times.
Thanks for the notes on magnesium citrate. I have issues from time to time, and sometimes the over the counter pharmacy options are too much for me. I've actually missed work after taking an over night thing the night before. They are not my friend. So, I did some research on food high in fiber. I bought prunes and other foods to help, and they do, but it'd be nice and easy to have something like a gummy on hand if I need it. I'm gonna go buy some!
I had a bit of a 'whoosh' this week! I'm not yet back to where I was the beginning of December, but I am creeping my way out of the funk I was in. I'm getting closer to reestablishing my routines I had prior to December, and I'm looking forward to feeling that. I love routine and thrive in it.

Hi everyone. I've had a mixed week so far with work and stuff but so far I've managed to keep a 400 - 500 calorie defecit daily, so I'm hoping it will be OK on Sunday (weigh - in day for me)
I weigh daily and I'm cool with fluctuations, so no dramas with that.
I hope you guys are having a good day wherever you are 👍3 -

This has been an interesting week-I logged/tracked my food-which isn’t something new, except I would usually start the day strong, inputting my coffee, lunch, water and if I got to the point I was hitting my maximum allotted calories -say I popped a few chocolates or had some wine -I resigned myself to not hitting a caloric deficit or meeting my 1,200-so I just wouldn’t track anymore ...not that I was bothered by seeing that negative number-I just viewed it as a tool to aim at my target, so I saw little value with doing it when I missed......this week was different-I tracked everything and I saw just where I made those slips and how big they were -it gave me a deeper appreciation of the choices I make, when I make them and the outcomes -it has actually made me think twice before having a sweet smoothie etc. I was REALLY hoping to hit the 20’s today....I have been walking almost everyday, did a workout and my Kundalini....might have injured my foot in the process but....I will reiterate how much I appreciate reading your posts and the insights I gain. Happy Friday.5 -

I’m with you on this one -I know it’s a trigger -but it’s still a struggle. I think the worst part is knowing that it impacts me mentally and therefore physically-so the more I try to make that healthy divide -the guilt comes -I recently stumbled on “Peg Streep” on Facebook-and while it doesn’t 100% all apply to me -I found some solace in the knowledge.

Hi everyone.
Today has been a good day. I got 9hs sleep last night, completed work tasks, did my flexibility/mobility movements and went out for 2 short walks. Food logged and I'm now relaxing with my feet up (it's gone 8pm here).
Wherever you are and whatever your day brings, I hope it is all good for you.1 -

Not watching to much TV now and days. I'm trying to not let all the "chaos" stress me out. Stress causes me to eat. I started crocheting again. I'm making a pullover sweater for myself - one size smaller. It keeps my hands and mind busy and keeps me motivated. Let's see what next week brings.3 -

I posted this back on 9/23/20. Here is an update on my progress...
1. I was a little short of hitting my goal of 165. I was 172.6 on New Year’s Day.
2. I am wearing these jeans!
3. My body fat has reduced from 36 to 33%
4. I did this.... but it is very personal.
I am putting together a new one for the first 100 days of this year. More to come!!!6 -

Good morning (or day or night), everyone! It’s Saturday morning here, and I’m feeling refreshed with energy for a fun weekend. The sun is shining and there’s snow on the ground so there’s more light outside than there has been in several months. Today I plan on going for a long walk in the sunshine, baking banana bread, putting my lamps in the ceiling, taking Christmas decorations to the basement and setting up our new robot vacuum cleaner so that it can clean on an automatic schedule.
It’s going to be a good weekend!5 -
