@djmichaels I played around with it and got it to work. For now
@clepant it's definitely a risk vs benefits thing. I chose to go back to the gym because I need it for my mental health as well as physical. In the beginning it was outdoor classes only, then they opened up to limited classes that require sign up. My TRX class has 6 people, where there's normally 18. I think it depends on the gym. Mine is a state facility, part of the UNC system, so they're probably more strict than a freestanding place. They rearranged the whole gym with distancing and wipes and they are constantly cleaning. I'm happy with what they're doing. They've also been able to keep the outdoor classes going, usually Boot Camp would move indoors after Halloween.

1 mile in laps around the track. And lots of stretching.

Finally on the board at 3 miles out of 100.

Adding 9 ml miles for 12 out of 100.

Adding 21 miles for 33 out of 100. Looks like I should probably up my goal to 200. Sorry Dave and Janet for the extra work.

Adding 18 miles for 51 out of 200.

Adding 12 miles for 63 out of 200.

Adding 24 miles for 87 out of 200.

Adding 13 miles for 100 out of 200. If it had left my goal at 100 I could quit for the month.

Adding 9 miles for 109 out of 200.

@clepant - yes, we each have to find our own risk tolerance. I think my husband and I are pretty conservative. We don't go out except to exercise or buy groceries. But because we're in Florida, exercise means I can go for a run outside on a relatively empty trail. If I couldn't do that I would reconsider the gym. Our rec center is open here, as are most restaurants and stores, but we are choosing not to go. Stay safe, and keep your husband safe.

@Dave - I do hope your knee is recovering
@clepant - I’m so glad you’re able to do more ... as to the age thing, I think the trick is to try to ignore it as much as possible :D
@kar328 - with the current lockdown all the gyms are closed here. However I’ve suspended my membership for the time being, focusing on running and on-line Pilates classes. Having said that - I’ve struggled over the last month to be motivated.
In lots of ways life continues as normal - or should I say the new normal continues. The biggest difference is that our daily 3 m walk round the block doesn’t always include a coffee stop :'( In some districts the police are being a little zealous - two women, on a socially distanced walk, were stopped. The coffees they were carrying were deemed to be evidence of a picnic :D

@K80FLEC - Thanks for asking. The knee has been responding well to a little rest and hitting the bike a couple times rather than the treadmill. I also upped my daily dose of glucosamine/chondroitin. All seems to be helping! :+1: And that's utterly ridiculous about the two women having a "picnic" because they were carrying coffee... :eyeroll:

@Dave - the eyerolls were unanimous. The local police force were forced to apologise and reverse the fine.

@k80flec: Had to laugh at the two women walking and drinking coffee. Your police force must be really lacking on things to do or they are on hallucinogens . I have a friend in England and she said last spring that got yelled at for sitting under a tree with her dog after taking a break on their walk and was told to move on and no picnicking. Meanwhile she said people were playing all around her in the park. Picnicking must be a common complaint.

124.32. Was feeling off earlier this week so not much exercise. I biked 20 miles on the stationary bike yesterday, so I'm feeling better.
