    If you do have some water weight you know where it came from. The benefits of strength training is well worth some water weight at the beginning.

    @lelbarou
    Congrats on your teaching job. I am sorry that you injured your foot. I definitely understand your frustration of not being able to walk. I hope you can get a doctors appointment today. I know here they have a urgent care for things like that so maybe there have one in Toronto. So maybe you can check that out if you are unable to get an appointment.

    @888Angie888
    Nice loss! You are doing amazing this year.

    @mari_moulin
    The only way I can get my logging done is by pre logging. I do it a week in advance and adjust the serving sizes as I have a meal or a snack. I don’t have any kids at home so this is fairly easy for me to do.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    Nice walking. I know the feeling of just keeping walking. When I used to walk in the park, I would put my headphones on and just go. Nothing like Mother Nature as a cheerleader.

    @Beautyofdreams
    Nice job moving and getting your sleep quota. Getting enough sleep helps with weight loss.

    @Bluetail6
    Nice loss! A loss know matter how big or small helps us reach goal.

    @rlaskey2
    Sorry about your job! I am impressed with how you did a workout instead of eating your feelings.

    @heatherbluebell
    I think everyone has given good advice. Keeping making your changes and following your plan. The losses will come. Water weight is very frustrating. I had a big weight gain last week and it was mostly water weight. You have a fantastic attitude and that is so important with weight loss.

    @Z10Rtza
    I am so glad you are settling into a routine. I am impressed with all the green check marks next to your daily goals.

    Water weight from last week plus a little bit is gone. Yay! My dietitian appointment was really good. He had some great suggestions to go along with yours. I am buying a variety of things to have for snacks this week. He also gave me combinations that will help with hunger as well as blood sugar control.

    I did my “walk” twice yesterday and will again today. I know any movement is better than none but it still bothers me that I can’t walk like I did before. It’s silly as I shouldn’t look at the past but just the future. Anyway, once the pool and exercise room opens I will start getting consistent exercise again. In the meantime, mini walks it is. If I can find my dumbbells, I will start to do an arm routine next week.

    I am off to do a walk then I have a laundry and housework to get done.

    Have a great Friday all!

    @rlaskey2 congratulations on not eating your feelings and channeling your emotion into a positive workout. Sorry for the loss of your job but your positivity will carry you through.

    @888Angie888 You're off to a great start for the year with your steps and weight loss!

    @lelbarou hope that you are able to see a physician and your recovery is swift.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 Your walking is absolutely inspirational and you ans Aspen must be very fit.

    @heatherbluebell You are right that it is probably water weight or hormone fluctuations. You have lost a substantial amount of weight and know what to do, so keep at it and the scale will come around.

    @Z10Rtza so glad to hear that you have been able to fit zumba into your day. It's good to have something fun to look forward to each day to relieve the stress. Hope your medical appointments yield useful information to you.

    @Tazaria87 I admire your dedication to fit exercise into each day. This is a weak spot for me and I am taking notes on how you do it.

    @azkunk good job with your steps!

    @Bluetail6 all that weight loss adds up to bigger losses. Congratulations on staying in the green.

    @lindamtuck2018 hope your sleep improves and glad that you have been able to some walking. Hope your upcoming medical appointment finds a way to make you more comfortable.

    @mari_moulin zumba sounds like a fun way to burn calories! Your profile pic shows that you obviously know what you are doing strength training. I wish that I had results like that. Been weight training for 7 months and the inches disappear but unable to build muscle.

    That is very exciting news about your home gym. Seems like just a great decision for you and your husband. Also, congrats that your weight is moving down!

    @lelbarou - thank you we are very excited for sure. It was an Investment and I hope it pays off in the end. I’ve been paying 2 gym subscriptions for almost 4 years now and with this money we could have bought our home gym 3 times over!
    @Mari_moulin
    I love Zumba! My GP teaches a virtual session twice per week, so I go to her class. She actually became a Zumba instructor because of my influence! Cool how things go…

    @heatherbluebell -

    It really is cool how things work out! I also love my Zumba classes and although I do enjoy doing our virtual classes it’s just not the same as doing it with a group of people. I cannot wait until this craziness is all past us and we can go to a more normal life 🤞🏻

    @lindamtuck2018 -

    This has always been a challenge for me as I have 5 people to feed and they are all so darn picky. I can’t plan that much ahead of time so daily works best for me. The issue is I start off logging ok then things get busy and I don’t finish doing it in the day. I don’t like to pre-log cause it always changes and not just by weight amount but the full meals can change depending on people’s moods.

    @Beautyofdreams - don’t let the picture fool you lol. My shoulders are the most muscular part of my body. I’ve been doing strength training for 4 years now. My shoulders thighs and calves are all I have to show for it lol. I do hope that one day I can have much more muscle toning on more of my body than that. In particular my tummy which is all muffin tops at the moment lol.

    You are doing great if you are losing inches. Give yourself some time. Keep at it and you will see the results you are looking for !

    CW (Current Weight): 214.4lbs

    I have a gain of 1.4 this week, not sure why (probable overeating) but I'm on the good track so not too fussed about it. I got my exercise bike and am using it, so that will prove interesting to monitor!

    Awesome loss! I think you should enjoy yourself. I know if I go into a situation like that and I set limits on me it turns into a free for all. Now I go, enjoy the celebration. Weekends like this don’t happen all the time. Once you get home jump right back on plan.

    It is a lot harder to pre log for sure when you got kids. When I had my granddaughters over to do virtual school my menu for the week ended up out the window. Your right, kids can be picky.

    @heatherbluebell
    I am so glad the team was helpful. Those standing desks sound so interesting. Several people on the team have got one and liked them.

    @Piqueaboo
    I love your attitude.

    Took rest day Thursday from beachbody after the core workout the day before and it was nice out so walked instead. Yesterday did a full body work out. Trying to stick to the plan and have a loss this week before vacation.
