Yes, yes, and yes for me. I did several hours of yardwork. Took it easy and rested when I needed to, but I did it. Felt good.

In spite of 5 pass days last month I still lost 2.8lbs in April which is better than March where I lost only 1.1lbs. I have 6.9lbs left to lose to get to my goal. The loss has slowed down these last two months so at this rate it will take a few more months.
May is going to be a challenge as we have a week vacation out of town planned for mid month so I need to be strict for the next two weeks. I usually gain a few pounds on vacation because of all the restaurant food but I also tend to lose it within a week or two. Still it will probably stall much loss for this month.

Saw a new chiropractor today( the second one I’ve seen since we moved to TN. Didn’t care for the first one and have gone back to see my chiropractor in NC on a few visits back) and she suggested I take 2 weeks off from exercise as my hip area is inflamed. I must’ve looked at her like she had 2 heads. I told her I only jog 3-4 days a week and do my spin bike the other days so it’s not too much stress on my body. She says it still would be. It doesn’t even hurt when I jog, I just feel more of an “awareness” of my hip the last mile or so. It bothers me when I sleep at night. Or try to sleep; it wakes me up when I turn over while sleeping. I’m thinking about wearing a mask and going back to the fitness center where I live ( there’s usually no one even there) and use the elliptical. Or find another chiropractor! Maintaining weight loss aside, exercise is the only thing that lets me get rid of stress and keep my sanity.

@clutterqueen, I understand. I sometimes have bursitis in one hip after steep (up & down) hikes. I know it’s hard to really rest it. I use an Ultravolt (deep massager) when my hip acts up (my theory is other tight muscles aggravate the bursitis. I also make sure to ice the hip.
I keep walking, but choose flat trails & walk more slowly. Usually I’m ok in 1-2 days of doing that.
My SIL was told to stop riding her Peleton for a few weeks for the same reason as you. she still does her pretty fast walks & Her hips have healed. So perhaps skip the spin bike & do gentle walks instead of the jogs for the 2 weeks? Or really rest & focus on upper body? Swim?2 -

1st May
A washout! I had some delicious bread, wholemeal with nuts and olives, and I finished off the loaf during the course of the day, slice by slice, with delicious Tomme cheese, herb and garlic cheese spread or home made mackerel and cream cheese pate ... I couldn't resist it.
Did my 20+ minutes walk, but stopped tracking, as I knew I was over calories. So, Pass Day #1, but at least I enjoyed it! Will try harder today! No bread left, but I have a pork chop, apple and courgettes, which I like to bake in a light batter ... My main problem is that I actually like nice food ... It's stopped raining and the weather looks nice, so I can go out without an umbrella.7 -
