New month knocking on the door, new challenge!
This month's theme came to us a couple years ago courtesy of @kfat1. I liked the idea so much, I decided to use it again this year. And also, it was already dreamed up, and I'm lazy.
Excellent idea!
The challenge starts June 1st. So go ahead and post your goals, whether it be nailing down plan Basics, increasing your fitness, or adopting healthy habits. Anything is fair game as long as it's in pursuit of your health or fitness.
Jump on in!

My Plan is to get back on Keto ....Walk with my daughter and husky in the mornings and swim in my pool in the afternoons ....Plan my meals ......no eating after 8pm8
-
My plan is to pick up resistance training... The biggest barrier for me is bringing the weights and mat to the living room then putting them back in the garage even though that’s exercise in itself lol. Also, it’s about a15 foot walk so I really need to suck it up.7

I hope to up my kettlebell beginner workouts consistently and keep carbs low, low, low with Keto AF-- animal foods keto!7

I committed to a work challenge in May to 150 min a week in workouts. For June I'd like to increase that to 180. Not a big jump but it makes it doable. Ancillary goal will be fitting back into some of my capris. It's odd, my shorts all fit but not the capris LOL.7

I will also be going back to IF 16:8....I am starting my plan tomorrow .. I am excited to see what June brings me since I am finally over hernia surgery recovery8 -
Sticking this month to my 16:8 or 18:6 depending on the day...still trending down slowly, but then again I do pop in a 'cheat' once in a while like too much cheese, or sharing a bottle of wine with hubby for dinner. Only 10 lbs to go til I'm back to my original happy weight - if I keep going I hope to manage that by the end of July. No pressure - I don't need any extra stress, lol.8

Something must be working. I woke up today with energy to do laundry and some cleaning, as well as a bit of weed pulling! unheard of lately. Must have ketones! I don't measure them, just feel them...6

My goals are to stick with this WOE and to get moving! I am so good at it for about 3 months then slip up and go back to grains and sugar. I know I feel my best when I eat this way and after a year of online teaching (sitting) I need to move. Goals are 12, 000 steps a day and 3 X week at the gym building muscle. So 1 month at a time.6

Hello June! I am ready!
We are going to a restaurant tonight for the first time since October! It has a beautiful outdoor area in a garden. It’s been there as a crossroads inn since the 1500s. They smoke their own trout, which look disgusting but taste delicious and are perfect for keto. I’m sure I will have (at least) a glass of wine, however! It is a beautiful 1 mile walk through the woods to get there. So excited!8 -
Went for a nice walk yesterday to close out a successful May-176 down to 171.5. That was the first month in a year I had any consistency. Did some food prep yesterday, focusing on making everything very tasty so I truly enjoy what I'm eating.
@Megan_smartiepants1970 great walk!
@Ringbearer2 that inn sounds wonderful!5 -
My goal is to say NO to the temptations and to snack prep to help achieve this goal6

Hello Everyone,
Just got back on MFP again. Had success previously with KETO, intermediate fasting and tracking calories. Lost 80lbs but gained a lot back.
So my goal is to use the same process and plan again with KETO, IM and tracking along with gym work.
Best of luck to everyone, be persistent and take one day at a time.7 -

6/1 just got back from a 4.95 mile walk ...carbs are higher than I want but its okay 2nd day back on Keto so it is a win in my book5

My June Challange is to get back on MFP, get back to healthy eating, track my food, to move more and to lose 10lbs this month.5
-
June challenge is to walk away from temptation. If it is out of sight, it is out of mind for me. I will spend as little time as I can in the kitchen. When I'm tempted I will divert my attention to something else.6

Restaurant Report!
Had filet mignon instead of trout
Asparagus as a side
2glasses EXCELLENT Syrah
Beautiful venue
2.5 mile walk to get there and back.
I count this as a win.6 -
Ok let’s see if I can get some consistency with eating this month. I’ve had lots of ups and downs the last few months so it’s back to basics for me. Listen to my body and only eat when I’m hungry. Snacking when I’m not is such a waste! Stick to calorie goals and watch the number of splurges I have.
6/1
Under calories for the day with very low carbs. No urges for sugar so that is a plus!5 -

I'd count that as multiple wins! And I'd have gone for the filet too!2 -
Thanks for the add! New to the low carb journey and excited to learn some tips/tricks from this group!3

I’ve been doing well the last few days on eating just enough to be full at lunch. Most of my calories come at dinner but tonight I overate a bit versus eating to satisfaction. That put me over calorie goal by a smidge but not too bad overall. Keeping protein high is helping with fullness. No sweets cravings again today so that was nice. I have crazy work hours again for the next three weeks so that will remain my challenge of planning ahead and not eating because I’m tired.4 -
I need goals...been kinda aimless...I already have a strength/cardio/stretch workout schedule...going to add in 10 min of stairs in the morning...and 5 miles of walking...that should help keep me on track this month...I had great results last month, but then kind of lost steam the last week and that has carried over into the first week of this month, so I really need to step it up and get with the program!!!2

June 2:
Calorie goal: An I'm-an-idiot error caused me to be about 150 cals over. Shall pay more attention.
Carbs:
Exercise: Started walking then it formed up a rain shower on us. Dang mtns. So I had to go inside into the basement Dreadmill.1 -
6/3 just got back from a 7.87 mile walk ... I was going for 8 miles... But I am proud of it considering this is my 1st week back to walking ... burned 1030 cals and my carbs are still over but not by a lot ..so I am good with that2
-
June 3:
Calorie goal:
Carbs:
Exercise: Had to take the 12-year-old to get her second Covid vax, then run to the store. Between that and the traffic being bonkers, I did not get to workout but I did get about 7500 steps so not too terrible.
