I love that! So true for so many things.
Yesterday was not a great day. It started out fantastic...but then I got some sort of mild food poisoning. Left work early and went home to nap (very unlike me) and when I woke up I went down a F-it rabbit hole. My dinner was carb city and I didn't even finish my step count for the day.
Gotta get my butt back on track today.

@Be_theBest_Me and I are continuing our mano y mano challenge again this month. Neither of us earned the prize last month. This months challenge is the first to lose 6 lbs. My starting weight for the challenge was 184.6, hers was 184.8. NECK AND NECK CHALLENGE!!!!
Some personal crap....
Some of the veteran members will recall in march I posted about being one year sober. Soon after the post I fell off the wagon. This has probably contributed to my gaining as of lately. Yesterday was my new day 1. I’m back on the sober wagon. I cannot drink like a typical adult, only like a binging college student. Therefore, I must stop completely. Once you become a pickle, you cannot go back to being just a cucumber.
It's on!!!! Nothing is gonna slow us down now!! We got this!! Woo woo!!!

I Just had three meals a day and no snacks ...it was hard lol .2 -
@beka3695 Hugs to you - you did it once and you can do it again. I've tried and failed to be sober. Now, when I drink I try to do it in moderation with the hopes I can avoid the hangover. It is hard when all of your friends are big drinkers.
@hipari You are hitting a very exciting milestone in your pregnancy. Seeing that image will make all of the struggles you've had so far WORTH IT!!
@RisingAboveIt I hope your car troubles are not major! I'm with Beka - don't let the stress of it make you eat poorly. I know, easier said than done! Chew gum. That helps me get over those munchy hurdles sometimes.
@angelic843 I hope you are feeling better! Sometimes when I am having stomach troubles I find myself eating more. Seems counterintuitive. Healthy vibes coming back at you!0 -

Happy weekend, team! What are your weekend plans?
I’m going to just chill out and rest. Tonight I’m going to a friend’s house and we’re making waffles, and probably gushing about everything cute - we’re expecting a baby in October and they’re expecting a puppy in July. This is going to be the cuddliest year ever in our friend group. Puppies and babies oh my.1 -

This week was a good week. Didn't drink as much water as I usually do. Didn't cave in and drink soda or alcohol this week. Still going to PT. Walked without pain for the first time in 2 years!!!! Was also given the okay to start strength training again; can't push more than 50 lbs but I will take that. 50 lbs is better than no lbs to me.
Getting ready for graduation in the next couple of days along with a pizza party next Saturday.

@SisuMom2019 - I guess I was sleepy last night. There was a missing weigh in somewhere and your weights got off track. I have this weigh in posted as this week and you are back on track again. All is well!1 -
