excuse me if I have mentioned this already. Along with Father's day, today was a day of rest. In the last week and a half, my family and I have had an offer put on a house be accepted and accepted an offer on our home. Lots of showings, decluttering, cleaning and 5 hours with a realtor Friday night has physically and mentally wore me out. A inspection tomorrow and hopefully life will be more where I can get my work done or at least not feel the need to leave.
Hugely, amazingly, blessed as this was a long time answer to prayers, ( our current home 19 years!) I'm just wore out.

I’m back from our girl’s trip to St. Augustine. Had a good time, despite all the rain dampening our plans. We were able to slip in a few tours when it wasn’t raining, such as the Flagler college tour, the Old Town Trolley, Ripley’s Ghost Investigation, and we even got to sit with a palm/tarot card reader. Feeling exhausted today and mostly I feel overstuffed and gluttonous. I’m totally ready to recommit and get back on that wagon!2 -

Looks like I may be returning to the office in September for one week each month. I have the summer to get back into my clothes so this is new motivation for me. My clothes fit, thankfully, due to this challenge keeping me in check but they were not comfy before. My goal is to make my current wardrobe comfy again by the time I return to the office. I would rather shop in my closet than buy more new clothes. So, I will be wearing my tight jeans today! It's a constant reminder to watch myself.
At the beginning of the pandemic, I called jeans day every Wednesday like when The Plastics from Mean Girls wore pink on Wednesday. I got out of the habit. It's back (but more than Wednesday).1 -

I didn’t log my weight this week because I wasn’t sure if my overnight 4 lb gain was all that realistic. Im thinking it was mostly water/sodium weight from one night of bad eating. I was on my best behavior all week but then splurged the night before weighing in. I didn’t want to bring down the teams average if the number was just inflated. But I’ll know for sure on Monday🤗 This happens when I have an eventful “food” weekend. So I’m gonna go ahead and move my weigh-in day to Mondays and hopefully that’ll help me eat better over weekends😊

Man it hurts to quote myself but its been 8 days since I posted this and its safe to say, if that weight wasn't true to form, it certainly is now! It took me 2 and a half months to get from 147 to 143. It took 2 weeks to add it back. It always amazes me how quickly our body can welcome back the fat we lost!

Finally got a synch, steps: 7404
Today I'll be lucky to hit that many as I decided to take an early rest day. Seems I caught a cold while on vacation and it has wiped out all of my energy. It's been beautiful here the last couple of days, 79 degrees, sunny, no humidity, but I can't bring myself to go for a walk and am falling asleep at my desk. This is what happens when you go back out in the world after hiding out for 15 months.3 -
