@Mrs_Hoffer the fires are apparently in BC and western US... so they are nowhere near here... that smoke travels far! We are often under heavy smoke from fires in the neighboring province... many summers I can recall like this. Just devastating for the people actually dealing with the fires.0

@ashleycarole86 you are right. Im in Ohio, but often hear about the fires on the west coast..... my heart goes out to those living in those areas. I'm glad to hear that doesn't include YOU!0

Daughter has been moved into her new place - she has always picked places with room mates...and always so much trouble. She is a conflicting personality and I keep telling her. She has moved 5 times in a year and a half...CRAZY!! This time I told her...NO ROOM MATES!!! I'm hoping it works out for her this time...so sick of moving!3 -

@TwistedSassette and @Mrs_Hoffer thanks for the explanation about “standing hours” I was struggling to imagine being on your feet for 14 hours a day! My fitness tracker watch will do a buzz if you haven’t moved for a period of time (you choose the time) but I don’t bother with it. It’s not a fancy Fit tracker so I just use it to record steps. I aim for 12,000 steps a day.
I’ve just remembered one NEAT activity that makes my boyfriend embarrassed: when we go away in the motorhome we often use buses to get around and I do exercises while waiting for the bus. I walk back and forth, punch my arms forward, sideways and up, kick my heels up (can’t remember what that’s called), knee raises etc etc. He turns away and pretends he not with me. Ha Ha!

Appropriate topic for me today. My only exercise this past week as been NEAT. That said, add on another pass. Tracking good, calories good, packing did not close my apple ring (510 calories), so not counting it. That's my compromise. All good.2
